I posted a similar question a few days ago, but felt I needed to be a little more specific perhaps in a timeline. So I'm not sure if this helps my question or not since there is other background stuff going on that would not make a relationship feasible probably for some time.

I had asked today if "I will be in a serious relationship with *NAME* within a year" where as before, I asked if I'd be in a serious relationship with him. So not really sure if being that specific helps.

Since I'm rusty on horary, and astrology in general, is this where I'd start looking at:

1st house - me
7th house - him
aspects to Mars & Venus
sun/moon aspects?

If we take you as L1 (Virgo = Mercury in the 8th house) and him as L7 (Pisces = Jupiter in the 2nd house) you are in direct opposition to each other. So nothing is likely to take off anytime soon. Oppositions tend to mean no but not impossible. I don't have the experience to say whether you will form a relationship within a year but you are both in Succeedent houses which mean overall delay.

Also, his co-sig is the Sun in 8th house conjunt Venus = has he come out of something recently or is he confirmed as single? His main sig (Jupiter) applies semi-sextile to the Moon in 7th so perhaps relationships are on his mind in that they are not going too well overall.

The Moon is in your turned L1 so this is situation appears to be uppermost in your mind.
