Dear forumites,I got this compatibility report done on mykundali.com. I am planning to get acquainted with vedic astrology as it seems so interesting but also so different from Western astrology. In the meantime, could you help me out with the results from this report please! How bad/good is it considering we got 0 points from 2 most important gunas (if I understood it correctly)? So I figured out each guna has a maximum points a couple can get and the points awarded increase in order of priority, right? SO, we got the 20 out of possible 36 points. Here's where the maximum possible was obtained: Varna - both Sudra - 1 point
Vasya - both Manav - 2 points
Tara - him Janma, me Vipat - 3 points
Maitri - him Venus, me Saturn - 5 points ------ same as Rasi Lord, right? Found on Google that this might me good for unfortunate Bhakoot
Nadi - him Antya, me Madhya - 8 points The rest 3 gunas suck: Yoni - him Mahis, me Simha - 1 out of 4 points 
Gana - him Debta, me Raksha - 0 out of 6 points ( -------- he's Devine and I am Demon?? Crap
Bhakoot - him Libra, me Aquarius, 5:9 - 0 out of 7 points ( ----------seriously?? It says this is Love, thought this would be the high score. In western astrology we have Moon trine Moon, Venus conjunct Moon, Venus conjunct Mars double whammy, Moon conjunct Pluto..you know what I mean? We both have Low Mangal Dosha - Mangliks (low) What scores do you guys get? What's a 'good' score? P.S. Yes, conclusion in the report says 'marriage is preferable'. But maybe 20 out of 36 is ok..I don't know. That's why I'm asking what's the average score, what others have etc etc.. I'm totally new to all this, don't even know where to start. IP: Logged |

Score is less important. 18 is said to sufficient but only after looking at other factors. In vedic astrology aspects are also considered important. Like each planet looks and casts their effects at a certain place from their position. It's actyally quite vast.IP: Logged |

That much is clear  Miss Queen, do you know any website for absolute dummies? Something that explains things from very beginning, like how to create a chart and how many charts there (them Vedic charts are Nothing like western chart wheels!), signs, planets, aspects etc.? Thank you! IP: Logged |

Yoni is sexual compatibility - 2 unfriendly animals in my case (sigh). Well, we are animals when it comes to sex..other things too actually! Contrary to popular opinion we are not THAT evolved.Gana - temperaments. I'm a bad girl, he's a good boy (sigh) boooring Actually, you know what, this is upsetting. The lowest scored gunas that give most points, I'd rather have them well scored than many others with few points. And this is with synastry that is all about physical attraction. I don't want to say this vedic astrology is rubbish because I'm sure there's a reason for everything (I'd like to believe both western and vedic astrology work), but this result is just not what I expected at all..
