Not trying to compete with Hillary Clinton and Steve Colbert in the Name-Dropping Game, but I just want to give a "yodel" back to, Ian Astbury, the lead singer of The Cult and the rest of the band (Chris Wyse, John Tempesta, Billy Duffy, and James Stevenson). I really appreciate the very nice shout out at Mill City in Minneapolis last Tuesday...thanks for the love! Btw. I loved the show--what an awesome night! I was worried it going to be too heavy on the goth-metal for my ears, but in the end I was pleasantly surprised to hear your mystical American poet side resonate throughout evening, which made up for you guys not playing the song most folks would consider The Cult's anthem song, "Fire Woman"...from the girl in the front row with the broken left wing. (Nice shades! ) ________________________________________________________ (Btw. I still can't believe what you accidentally said to the handicapped section!..opps!...don't worry I tell the blind that they can see all the time.) A Up on Cripple Creek, she sends me. D If I spring a leak, she mends me. E I don't have to speak, she defends me. F#m G A drunkard's dream if I ever did see one. Yodel over: There's a flood out in California and up north it's freezing cold. And this living on the road is getting pretty old. So I guess I'll call up my big mama, tell her I'll be rolling in. But you know, deep down, I'm kind of tempted To go and see my Bessie again. (refrain) Yodel again and fade UP ON CRIPPLE CREEK ~ Robbie Robertson & The Band LEARN HOW TO "YODEL" with Jimmy Fallon & Brad Pitt (Late Night with Jimmy Fallon) IP: Logged |

So does my Daughter.I've always been subject to virulent fevers and ear difficulties. Spending half my life in the water didn't help much. IP: Logged |
