Hello everyone,

I'm new to the board, although I'm not new to Linda Goodman. I read Star Signs right after high school, which fortuitously served as a sort of confirmation of views and perceptions I had felt most of my life. She impressed me with her ability to present that information in such a colloquial manner, so as to reach so many as she is.

I wanted to know if anyone here is familiar with The Lion Path. I figured this would be a good place to communicate with others who have read the book, since it's recommended in Star Signs. I'm curious about others' experiences with it.

It's a book on immortality. I haven't been able to find it under a hundred bucks. That's why I haven't read it. Would love to though.

It's a complex book on physical immortality (written by Musaios (the poetry pseudonym of Charles Muses, who was Linda's good friend and also who Linda used at the beginning of many of her chapters in Gooberz).

The author is Charles Muses, I think. Sometimes people call him Museos.

It has been reprinted. You can get a copy for around 15 dollars. The going rate for the original is around a hundred bucks.

Hey Randall, thanks for the info. All those nice folks wanted payment by paypal or credit card. Do you know anyplaces that will accept money orders? Boy, I can't wait until I'm old enough to have credit cards.

Your local bookstores should be able to order it.

I found another place for you:
http://www.insight-books.com/cgi-bin/bb.cgi?isbn=0961511702&face=&userid=1000724693-NEW391

There's even a phone number and address in Illinois at the bottom. I'm sure they'll let you send a money order if you call and ask.

I remember looking for this book was one of the very first things I did when I first discovered the internet! I had been looking for it, and a couple other books, for a long time.

There are actually subsequent Lion Path books, and the publisher, House of Horus, would send you more information. Linda was right in saying that you don't need the instructions in The Lion Path to be an immortal, but they (and accompanying tapes) have been very helpful to me.

The process of being physically immortal is individual, just as any spiritual path. I think that each person finds what visualizations and methods work best.

The Lion Path is a very good book, though. It is great to have just for its information on mythology, theurgy, and biochemistry.

Thank you. I'm going to go see if I can order it right now. I'm beaming. I've wanted to read it for a while now.

Good luck Fairy Star!
And listen, the grass is always greener on the other side..I always wanted a credit card too, and now I wish I never had one- ugh, interest adds up, and that credit sometimes eats at you until you use it up, then the debt eats at you

Cool, Fairy Star, let me know when you get the book.

I agree with Fajita on credit cards, by the way!

You guys are right. I'm not very responsible when it comes to money so I know having one would get me into trouble.

It would make shopping online convenient though. The store said it would be about 6 days before it gets here. I've got to go find something constructive to do in the meantime.

A check card would be a good substitute. You can use it like a credit card, but the funds are taken straight from your bank account.

I need to get myself one of those. I guess first I should actually get some money in my savings account. I can't manage to save at all. Money burns in my hand.

All I know is that I can't write checks. I would have to have a checking account for that (and a job too). And, unless you're a certain age, you have to bring your parents with you to take money out. I guess it's a way for people who don't have jobs to save money and have it grow with interest.

Trust me, enjoy not having to pay bills while you can.

It came in the mail yesterday. It took a bit longer to get here than what they said but I don't mind. I read the first few chapters, they were a little complicated. It got easier as I got into it though.

It is a tough book to read.
