I say thank goodness they are legal! I also say i dont like them being used as a method of birth control. Recently a friend of mine who is definately a mature adult repeatedly had unprotected sex for about 6 months with a guy she had no intention of having a long term relationship with. Then she fell pregnant and decided on an abortion...she asked me how i felt..i said i support her decision..then she stated that she didnt know how it happened..what?? I said of course you do! I did not intend to be unsupportive nor cold about it...but she knew exactly how it happened and had 2 previous scares of being pregnant in this 6 month relationship. So while i feel its sometimes needed, its also abused.------------------ Some people weave burlap into the fabric of our lives, and some weave gold thread. Exactly .......... againAfter listeing to the majority here in Ireland, it is refreshing to embrace the more open minded........people can be so judgemental at times. I thank god I was never put in the position to have to make this decision, but I have friends who did, and I would stand by them and support whatever decision they made.......no black and white in life......grey areas with all matters....... "there for the grace of God go I" Compassion at all times...... xxxxxx

Ye guys are very very refreshing. Here in Ireland......on average 17 women per day travel to England to get an abortion...cos the Catholic church......well most know what their ruling is !!!! It is changing gradually of course, but evenso women are made to feel like sinners......its outrageous........ But its wonderful to meet ye guys, open and compassionate. LOve to all Sue xx
