I'm very alarmed at a bill pending in the Missouri legislature right now. What it will do, if passed, is forbid the sale of cold beer from any establishment, with the exception of bars. Right now my pickup is falling apart from our horrid infrastructure, and yet moronic bills like this get cooked up by apparently very bored individuals. I don't believe it's the governments right to try and make a decision for me. On the bright side, if passed, this bill will probably boost the ice and cooler industry...unless these are eventually banned also. *exasperated*IP: Logged |

Good lord the bible belt is ridiculous sometimes. Write to your senator or something and maybe they won't do it.IP: Logged |

Hey beebuddy. Yea, I'm riled over this one, so I'm contacting my districts representative office. I don't understand this penchant for bills of this type either. IP: Logged |

I am currently in DC and I live less than a mile from Virgina. Anyway, VA. lawmakers overruled a veto by the Governer that will make cameras in neighborhoods a reality. The legislation was proposed by the state senate and shot down by the Governer. The cameras will be snapping photos of people that are speeding. Personally the idea is considered awful and speed humps seem to work fine considering I bottom the Honda out every time I try to speed over them.I also just read that Marlboro will now be stopping sales to online vendors in an effort minimize underage sales. What a waste of time and money! Legislation is sooooo steeped in personal political and business interests, it's a joke. IP: Logged |

Hey beebuddy,There are cameras at extremely busy street intersections where I live. These are accident prone areas and a lot of cars run red lights. Everytime a car passes a red light, two cameras go off and you see a big flash. The city the mails the person the photos and a ticket for several hundred dollars. On the freeways, there are speedometers that display the speed cars are traveling at. Interesting. IP: Logged |
