Well this is a new one on me, although I realise it's probably not for all you Steiner fans. I know nothing of Steiner or biodynamics, but it's featured on some TV programmes lately and I'm curious. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biodynamic_agriculture What do you know of this peeps? Any experience practically? And where's a good place to start with reading Steiner? IP: Logged |

Thanks Wheels of cheese. I'm chuffed. Do read steiner's books when you get the chance, I find them hard to read but they are meant to make you think, spiritual science and all that. I started with 'The Gospel of St John' and I haven't been able to read too much since then but I will get around to it. Did you know there are Steiner schools?IP: Logged |

I tried to start with Occult Science ages ago... it was so dry I couldnt handle it. Later on I jumped straight into the very deep end and eventually went with what resonated..im now reading books i would have turned down last year.. But to get you "in" i would recommend Karma of Materialism.... & his Berlin lectures on life between death and rebirth. My step-grand parents founded the first steiner school in australia so I'm getting immersed in it now. Im so in love with the system... so beautiful. IP: Logged |

Sunchild I would love to send my children to a Steiner school but here in N.Ireland I would be afraid of making an example of my child and ostricising him for being different. Sad I know. I would have loved it myself. Wow to have step grandparents like that would be so cool!IP: Logged |

I'll check it out. My boys are very young, nursery age. There is only one school in n. Ireland. The only alternative is to teach the kids what I know of anthroposophy.IP: Logged |
