I'll be the babysitter here until I figure out who to hand it to.

This is going to be a great forum! I planted sweetpeas on the new moon. Their little seedling faces are up to smile at the sun on Linda's birthday. I always plant my sweetpeas first every year in her honour. Viva gardening!

oooooooooo wow! What a great surprise to start my day! wwoooohhoooo! I"m so excited to dig into helping create this forum!

I'm flattered that knowflakes suggested lil ol mee for mod. I'm not sure I feel completely qualified considering most of my gardening knowledge is from books as opposed to experience. FishKitten, you sound like you have lots of experience..

I do have lots of time though, being a stay at home mom, so in that regard I may be a good candidate.. I would wonder if FishKitten may be interested in moderating..

Maybe Randall already has someone in mind tho?

Could we move the Permaculture thread over here from Global Unity?

YIPEE!! Just in time for spring.

I always plant my sweetpeas first too, FishKitten. Cupani's and Painted Lady. Still looking for just the right lavender/purple. I started them in memory of Linda. The magical way she described them - I just had to see and smell for myself.

Yippee is right

I always start my seeds on Imbolc and they run me of out space by planting time. I moved them all into the greenhouse on the new moon. Where I might add, my first time seeded geraniums are outdoing the regulars.

I planted sweet peas in my ditchs 8 years ago and they run rampant. I always see the same folks picking a few every year.

viva Linda, gardening, spring and Randall for this forum.....

Oh this is awesome! I've always been interested in gardening but haven't been able to get my hands in the dirt, so to speak. Plus, it's great to be able to discuss the environment in general (hopefully) without all the politics from Global Unity or what not. I love the Earth! OK. I'm done, lol. Thanks Randall.
