I'm curious what the impact of this would be. This is the only opposition in the chart, as well as the only aspect for the planets involved. It stretches between the fourth house (Venus) and the tenth (Jupiter). Venus is at 1'53 Sag and Jupiter is 29'29 Taurus.

Hi Foxxy, Welcome to Lindaland! Venus in the 4th house means, great pride will be taken in your home, wanting it to look beautyful, a haven of peace. Love of the immidate family is increased. A strong adoration of the mother/parent's is found here. Jupiter in 10th house it is helpful to your career and reputation, admired and respected in the community. Jupiter protects professional ambitions and attracts honors and recognition. You attract attention. there is a strength in the ability to take in the broad perspective of a situation. asperations are high, and as they are conquered, wisdom will grow and lessons learned. which will be born in mind whenever the need arises. A sence of drama and a tendancy to show off are present.
Venus in Sagittarius considerable enthusiasm and warmth will be expressed towards partners. but the sagittarian need for independance may make you loth being tied down to one person, so more then one relationship may be experianced at any given time. Love will be enjoyed and you will make the relationship rewarding and exhilarating for your partner. You are a livley friend who will make life fun. Jupiter in Taurus There is a great love of life here, jovial and happy! Good life style, good food too. since your Jupiter has a negitive aspect to venus you may want to watch how much "good" food you do eat, there may be some "comfort eating" to fill up some empty space, so a tendancy to gain weight. A high motivation to make money, usually with success, you will invest cleverly, with a good sence of timing. A sence of genorosity and a love of entertaining is present, you like to see others enjoying themselves. This also shows reliability and comman sence when needed.
Venus opposed Jupiter Restlesness and discontent may mar your happiness from time to time. This aspect fosters exagerated social mannerisms and flowery romantic expression. It induces vanity and laziness. You greet strangers kindley and always have nice words for family members. But your relationships tend to be largley superficial. This aspect may also mean you are a spendthrift, spending beyond your means. Hope this helps, Rue

Rue, why aren't you teaching a lesson in the Astrology Course? ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark

Thank you so much for the info The person who has the aspect, Steven, actually has had a bad time with relationships lately, specifically with his ex-fiance (they have two children together which I thought would make it 4th house) and when I looked at his chart the oppostion, neptune (Sag ruled) in the fourth house, and saturn trine neptune (Also 4th house)jumped out. I know Neptune has a habit of clouding the house it occupies and I wondered if it being coupled in the same house with the opposition would be an indication of his relationship troubles in his chart.

Hi, That information, only came from books I have. I suppose I gave you the wrong impression. It was such a nice complement though and thank you both so much for it. Rue

But you have studied a lot about astrology, right? ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark

Hi Randall, Ummm... Im not sure how much astrology is alot (to you) but, with some questions on here I would know how to answer them off the top of my head, and other's I would have to look up. Then there are questions and answers on here about things either I have never her of (cinderella linkages) or would never know how to answer, which is why Im taking the course If you needed help with somthing just let me know what it is and I'll let you know whether or not I feel confident to do it. I would just hate to do it then end up letting you (and everybody else for that matter) down. Let me know Rue
