Well the broad shoulders is right. Every male Leo I know, including myself has fairly broad shoulders.

The hair thing I think is subjective to "how Leo" the Leo is. For me I've always either had bleach-blond hair, or highlighted blond hair, (my natural is a border between blond/light brown), which is styled in the "rockstar" manner.

As for the eyes mine are a lame brown, that on rare occasions turn kind of a clear green (usually when I go in the ocean), go fig? But I have always been told that people can see fire in my eyes when I'm aroused, like when I'm angry, working intensely on somehthing, or in other situations when I'm aroused...

Let's not forget most Leos have very shapely posteriors!!!!

Lost Leo-----I have an ample butt as well....some of my girlfriends say they wish they had my butt...they say their butt is a pancake butt.....I'm still petite though which makes it worse...the hips are about the same circumfrence as my chest but my hiney is round LOL I wish it were smaller!

I have long auburn brown hair...it is so fine though...I have a lot of it..and it LOOKS like there's more there...but it's so fine.

My eyes are POOP brown...dark..dark brown..to the point that when I'm very very happy or very very sad...they look black...hard to tell the difference between the black dot in the center of the eye and the actual color.

oh...and I have full lips too.

Hmm Well the description for Cappy "Capricorn: very tall, defined cheekbones, sleek hair. Often tan or olive skin." doesn't fit me much.
5'1, 110lb's, red hair that is at the very least mildly wavy and when I don't fight it frizzy/ringlet type curls, and my skin . . well you can see my blue blood very white typical anglo saxon paleness. I do however have the cheekbones.

Of course I have Sag rising and Mars in the first house both of which are associated with red hair. I Definitly have Saggi legs.

I'm not certain if I look more like my sun or my rising sign, if pushed I would call it a combination of sun moon and rising. But I'm still a newbie

ACtually heehehehe I have the petite features you describe in Virgo (facially), and I look exactly as you describe Sag LOL

"Sagittarius: very tall or very short. Very fair complexion. Freckles and big, clear blue eyes. Often redheads."

hey, N_wEvil, I also have Aquarius sun/Gem Rising

and i don;t fit the general descriptions of my Sun/Moon/or Rising signs!!

I'm 5'3 (5'4 on a good day), always stylishly cut dark brown/auburn hair, dark brown eyes, 125 lbs. I've got the hourglass thing going on too. That's not typical of my sun or asc.

But here's how I see the signs, GENERALLY:

Aries: fairly pronounced heads (hey, it's the sign of the Ram and it rules the head) and confident posture

Taurus: don't know about their feautures, but they are always dressed well. except for one taurus guy i know with a gemini rising (but i happen to think most gemini's lack that fashion sense-not to be mean at all, just saying there's a difference between the Venus ruled and the rest of us)

Gemini: always look younger. Soft facial features, simple (but playful) eyes

Cancer: MOON FACE (hey, we all know it's true)....it's what I call the Moon-hue to all Cancer skin tones. Plus, the faces tend to be pronounced and rather round

Leo: You know the cartoon ideal of a Sun with a face in it? That's the Leo-perhaps not as round...but their facial features always seem to be in it's own little T-Zone atop a larger, or flatter surface. Does that make sense to anyone else? They also have perfectly styled hair (gotta frame those faces!) and they have confident postures.

Virgo: I wish I could explain it properly....slightly pronounced chin/jawline area. And their noses tend to be pronounced.

Libra: Littler, almost squinty, nicely shaped eyes. Very pleasant, soft features. Their mouths (lips) often seem to be smaller.

Scorpio: the men have long, round cheeks. Scorpio eyes are piercing and almost animal-like.

Sagitarius: Broader shoulders, confident posture

Capricorn: I can't explain it in words...but they have a certain older (i know this isn't sounding right) overall look to their faces. I'm not talking wrinkles, just an older something....

Aquarius: Aquarians, with the exception of those blonde aquarian males with blue eyes, have non-descript pupils (meaning, not the kind of eyes one stares longingly into-almost like round ink spots). Even chins. Those other aquarian males have small blue eyes and chiseled features. mmmm...blond/blue-eyes aquarian males

Pisces-soft facial shape, with sometimes sad looking eyes.

Keep in mind, these are just some similarities I've noticed.

Oxychic -

If you were to guess from my pics
( http://groups.msn.com/lindalandjoints/shoebox.msnw?Page=4 - the ones in some way labeled proxieme, and the one that says "again, to link to")
what would you guess are my sun and/or moon and/or asc?

Just curious
--------------------------

As far as my observations go, I have a kinda neat situation in that my p/t job is @ a video store, and anytime someone's acct. is brought-up, so's their birthday (so I've had the opportunity to directly and immediately test my observations);
so far, though, I've only really gotten Cancer & Scorpio men down - I can usu. spot them a mile away.
The stereotypical eye thing is often so, so right for Scorps, and I've noticed that Cancer men either have somewhat juvenile features (no matter their age) or heavy brows and melancholy-ish eyes.
I'm getting better @ spotting Aquarians - I just look for the oddest person out
Seriously, though, some of the most staid-looking people coming through have been Aquas, but they usu. betray themselves once you engage them in conversation ("Those are the BEST rainbow-colored toe socks you're wearing w/ your sandals," says the man in the business suit and suspenders...stuff like that).

Finechick, I'd be d*mn proud of that derrier. If we're talking just physical characteristics, above and beyond, a firm & round behind that sticks out a bit is the most coveted, after a charming face. I think men associate fitness and athleticism with a firm and shapely buttocks!
And it is a Leo trait because every girlfriend seems to enjoy physically abusing my behind and demeaning it with derogatory remarks, lol.

I also have really fine hair, if that means anything...

Aw, proxieme-no fair! I already know you're a Pisces Sun/ Aqua Moon/Cancer Rising (I just saw some of your info on another thread).

I know a few Aquarians who stand out in a crowd (not even meaning to do so), but the majority of Aquarians that I know blend in very well, including myself.

I find myself trying to guess people's signs on the train....I'll bet you have fun with that!

Ah ha! Scorp rising, not Cancer!

Yep, yep - I have tons of fun trying to guess Sun/Moon/Asc, and I think I'm getting better @ it; and once I know someone for a while, I'm often quite good.
(Not to toot my own horn.)
Ack! Last day of finals tomorrow! Must...study...aaah!

That Proxieme is a Scorpio rising, not a Cancer rising. I had just read it somewhere else, and still got it wrong.

In reply to Oxy's post -

I do have quite chiselled features (i think) as well as a very harsh nose, although its also one of those "ski-jump/manga" style noses, so they dont really coexist happily! heh

A housemate of mine (whos a sag) has pretty broad shoulders, he also swings them alot when he walks, which adds to the confidence thing.

Its not just shape its also motion though, cuz its very hard to sit still! I wonder if particular combinations of signs have particular fidgets they do?

Oxy - My Mom's a Pisces w/ a Cancer Rising (and even w/ her Sag Moon all the part of the "mother hen"), so you were kinda in a way right

Fajita - For a second I thought you were wishing me "good luck" on having a Scorp Rising Thanks for the well-wishes, and good luck to you, too, on your exams.

N_w - I dunno about particular combos of signs, but I know that my 1st House Uranus (at least I'm assuming that's what's doing it) can make me one fidgety biznitch. The only way I can stave that off is to do a minimum of 3 things at once (ie. surf the net while reading as the pages load and watching CNN or skipping between another book - as I'm doing now).
That maybe kinda like an Aqua Sun, so how 'bout you?

I'm also noticing that fire signs, in general (moreso with Aries and Sag) have prominent heads. I met a Sag (w/ Aries moon) the other day and I instantly thought he was an Aries! Not to mention some exes-one Leo w/ Aries moon, 2 Aries w/ Sag moons also had larger heads...as well as another friend of mine who's a Sag with Aries moon.

Oh, and N_wEvil....my grandparents used to always tease me about my "ski-jump" nose as well!

And all of the people I just mentioned above w/ Sag influence had broad shoulders.

I have Sun, Moon and Venus in Aries, and Aquarius Ascendancy. I think that what makes me stand out as an Aries is my penetrating stare. I have dark brown eyes, and they've been compared to hematites. Coupled with my eyebrows, when I frown, it's a real dead give-away of my Ram nature. I don't smile very often, but when I do smile, I do notice that it does light up my face. Being constantly in motion, and tall (5'8)
I sometimes come across as a giant Tazmanian Devil in a whirling dervish. What really made me laugh and agree wholeheartedly is the statement about Cancers. My life is surrounded by Cancer people - my partner, daughter, best friend, and one of my partner's best friend - and they all look different! My partner has been called two dimensional because he's tall and slim. Turn him to his side and you just might miss him! They might all look different BUT! I have found out ONE thing about them that they all seem to share in common. They have that distinctive loon laugh. It's not a laugh that comes out very often, it only comes out when they feel safe with you. And when it does come out, it is an infectious, deep in the belly laugh that is just on the edge of being maniacal, I love it!
