The Nodes of the Moon tend to be very significant in synastry. Strong Nodal ties are powerful. The individuals are drawn to each other. In the natal chart, the Nodal axis suggests powerful lessons an individual needs to learn in this lifetime, and when A's Nodal axis falls on personal planets or points in B's chart, the magnetism is powerful indeed. Perhaps B will play a large role in A's life, and either represent or force A to live out some of the issues inherent in the condition of the Nodal axis.

Important note about the Nodes in synastry:
Also note that there can be some uneasiness and hesitance when the Nodes, especially North Nodes, are strongly contacted by the planets and points of another person. The magnetism can be strong (and it isn't necessarily sexual, occurring in platonic friendships and relationships as well), but a certain amount of fear can be present (on the part of the Node person).

One way of looking at Nodal contacts in synastry: A person's planet conjunct your North Node is pulling you forward, toward lessons that you need in order for spiritual growth and happiness. But you may be somewhat reluctant to face these issues, depending on "where you're at" in the path. A person's planet conjunct your South Node is pulling you back into familiar territory. There is something "easy" about the relationship, and the lure can be strong, although you may eventually sense that you need something more, which can be viewed as "outgrowing" the relationship or even the person.

With this aspect in a synastry comparison you can reasonably assume that, regardless of what else may be going on, the North Node person is likely to feel fated, on some level, to be involved with the Venus person. That is not to say that you won't have to work at this relationship; you will. But the work you put in will pay off. Both of you are likely to feel connected in some essential way that is favorable for both love and friendship. There is also a tendency to operate harmoniously and symbiotically in social situations.

The reasons why things are so incredibly intense is because you have all those great and glorious contacts and then some very harsh ones. It's true intensity heaped upon intensity-- delicious and horrifying. Your Uranus + Pluto (energy, force, focus, rebellion, restlessness, freedom wanting) opposite someone's Venus/Moon/Chiron (if I am reading without my glasses correctly..LOL) could send all sorts of mood and power struggles off like fire works. For one thing Chiron is the wounded healer and with Venus is already sensitized; add in Moon, queen of moods and you get the drift....

You should post your charts and ask TIM and William to respond. They would inform you more thoroughly and eloquently than I am doing with their good pithy overviews (also that second nodal synastry may be too wide out but I bet you can feel it coming both sides, both people....)

Yep I can see that, my lil one is crazy about him and vise versa..My oldest well no one is good enough for him. The thing with that is they are actually alike in some areas. My oldest is a Leo and very,very eccentric. He also hs Uranus in the 1st house. They both like the same kinds of music and stuff alot in common those two..

No way that somebody has his Mars in conjunction with my Venus in 8th! I know one man but there is no question about that that he is my type at all. Never!

In fact I have looked in my case:

My Venus sextile or trine his Pluto
His Venus sextile or trine my Pluto.

Pluto is much stronger than Mars. Scorpio is more magnetic than Aries.

My opinion and my experiences.

I am in some Forums longer time and go always there where is Synastry.
About Sun - Moon aspects I don't find very much Charts.
About Venus - Mars aspects: the same (there are more Venus – Pluto aspects)

What I see most:

Jupiter (A) trine Saturn (B) - there must be good Saturn aspect for stability,
Venus (A) trine Saturn (B)
Venus (A) in conjunction Jupiter (B) - the best!
Moon (A) in conjunction with Saturn or with good planets (B),
Chiron in good aspects (most of them are conjunctions) - healer for each other.
NN conjunctions are karmic connection.
Juno with good aspects.

For me personally and for many others are more important planets in the 1st or 7th house from other person (here are important: Sun, Venus, Moon, Jupiter and NN)
