Hi everyone!Donna, can you give me some ideas as to how I would go about timing conception to have a desired birth date? Besides ALL the variables, the sun sign is probably the most obvious. But what about other factors? Thanks a lot!

I'm not Donna, but the time of conception means nothing, its the time of birth when the first breath of air enters the new child. Obviously, you can determine the month and relative date that a child will be born, but its the moment of birth that determines a great deal of the child's looks and personality. If you are having a C section you can schedule that as well, but if your relying on the natural way, the child will be born when the child is ready. Speaking as a individual born a month early, you can't always depend on the 9 month schedule. The point is that the child's soul picks the parents/family to be born into based on the Date, time, and place of birth in order to setup the potentials, both positive and less positive, that will allow the child to grow spiritualy during that lifecycle. Hi LannyIt's true what you say but nowadays we have a lot of control over faaling pregnant. Despite this a lot of people still get surprizes! Anyway, my point was that it will be very difficult to choose tha factors in your child's chart except possibly the sun and some of the other slow moving planets which won't change sign anyway. I agree that each soul chooses when and how he/she will be born. A chart is determined by the time of the birth and the soul usually enters the womb around the 4th month, although more advanced souls sometimes enter later. So I suppose I knew the answer.I am just looking at the possibilities of the different signs and how they will experience a cancerian mom and an aquarian dad, and thats juct the sun! Hi moonshadow,What Lanny said!! Sometimes, no matter how much planning we may do, the soul has the final choice. Even when it comes to Sun signs, so, in the end, the proper soul will choose the experience it needs with a Cancer Mom and Aquarian Dad. Considering that you have put much thought into it, makes me think you will draw a soul with great awareness in the physical, for our thoughts magnetize this towards us.  Donna IP: Logged |

Hi there, I have actually wondered about this myself...
My daughter was supposed to be born June 20th, so many of my natel chart planets have a strong gemini influance that I thought it would be a perfect match as mother and baby. Well She was a little more then late and born on the 5th of july. Not only that but she wouldn't move down at all! My labor had to be induced and I had to have forceps to bring her out, she just wouldn't come!
What I want to know though is if I had left her in me that hour longer she would have been a gemini rising like me and a cancer sun like me too. But she is a taurus rising ( not that their is anything wrong with that, My boyfriend is a taurus).
What if I never got induced or had the forceps used on me? that was not her choice at all to have that done,it wasn't nessesary, nobody was in any danger or anything. I had an epidural and wasn't in any pain, it wasn't my choice, it was the Dr's.
So my question is when it's not the souls choice to arrive when it does, and the choice lies in sombody elses hands - is it really the choice of the soul?
I have read alot about soul mates through reading charts and had she been a gemini rising we would have had a much better chance at it, it looks more like she belongs to my boyfriend though, both have taurus risings and capricorn moons. Hmmm...

Its my belief that it is always according to the soul's plann. By that I mean there are not any truely independent randum choices. The soul is born into this lifecycle exactly when he or she is supose to be. You indicated that if the child had been born an hour later she would have shared more traits with you. Consider that her Quest in this lifecycle may not be to be like you, but to be different so that the interaction and experiences between the two of you will be what he or she needs to experience. The timing of souls returning to a lifecycle is beyond our control, however much it may appear so. Love * Light
