What is the story about Phaethon (in Greek mythology sun of Helios), the missing planet between Mars and Jupiter? Any useful websites out there?

Txs for your help WoodlandGnome! Must have been a pretty important planet for our ancestors to carry such a name. But where/ how did he disappear? I am actually looking for a website discussing what happened to the planet.

Oh, I can't help you with that one. If I come across anything, I'll post it for you.
