Hi Cat, I have a question..You were on another string, but did not go back..

Cat would you be so kind as to answer how I would go about figuring my own family charts?
In regard to the 12th house.
Son: Jupiter in Aquarius in 12
Uranus in Aquarius in 12 Daughter: Sun in Aries 12
Mercury in Aries 12
Mars in Aries 12
Saturn in Pisces 12 Me: Mars in sag 12 Hubby: Venus in Virgo 12

Sorry for the delay in replying. I've only just seen your post. I mainly stay in Pilgrims Progress and the Astrology Course Forums.
Hmmmm that's a lot of questions you have there. I haven't got time at the moment to fully look into it all for you. My health has not been very good lately and my psychotherapy studies are currently taking up a lot of my time.What exactly is it you would like me to look at for you? Do you just want an overview of how those planets in the 12th would affect the different people? Let me know as we will be covering this in the Astrology Course.
Aside from all that, I hope things are good with you?

Cat, according to Edgar Cayce the glands are focal points for expression of karma...I've had thyroid problems for years and the Cayce-view certainly apply to me - the ruler of my 12th house is the Moon, which is placed in Taurus and squared by my 6th house Saturn/south node...

Hi Cat, I hope you remain in good health!
No, I don't want you to do the work for me .... I'd like to know where to look it up..and how to do the work mys-elf.  I am new to astrology, but I have learned a lot in the past year... I am always looking for more info... I read a lot.. 
I like to learn to do it mys-elf... I want to learn everything there is to know, about astrology, I know it will take a long time but I'll have to deal with that. There is something that won't let me be...I have to do this. Can you relate to that?

Yes I'm feeling much better now, thank you I can relate to wanting to know more and more astrology A really great book (which does cover families etc) is "Parkers Astrology" New Edition. Here in England it costs £19-95
I'll go check out amazon for you and post the link here.

Thank you Cat I went to the link...Great books...all. I usually get them from my public library, before I purchase, any book... I will do that and get back with you. If you have any more suggestions please do let me know.

Hi Mary
You're welcome I have loads of astrology books - all great (well most of them...lol) but for different reasons. I still study myself at the Faculty of Astrology here in London (where Liz Greene qualified) The first book they recommend is the Parkers book.
The only thing I disagree with in their book is their defination of the ascendent vs the Sun.... at the time I questioned their views with my teacher and she also said she disagreed with their thoughts. But then all astrologers have different views - which makes it interesting
Overall though the Parkers book is excellent...it was only the ascendant vs Sun thing. The rest was great. The book is very thorough. I once read that astrology is like a mistress that you can never leave....... I think that's very true. I can never get enough of it...always more to learn

How cool Cat,
just the title sounds wonderful I'll have to check that out as well.
I have to go to the library today, they had to order one of my books from another library.... They don't have many Astrology books...They are linked to many other libraries though. So I can usually find what I am looking for.
Bye for now, gotta find out which book came in.
