I consider Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and Chiron to be the most influental in one's charts. The inner planets (Sun, Moon, Venus and Mercury) effects are usually of a short duration, and while may provide information day to day, do not, in my estamation, have the impact of the outer planets.Of course, this is just my perspective. Each transiting planet impacts your life in different ways, and their effect on you is determined by your response. If you fight the effects of Saturn in your 7th house clearing away unproductive relationships for example, you will only make life more difficult at the time and in the future. Of course you always have free choice and you can ignore transits if you want.If you send me your birthdata (date, time, & place), I will be happy to do a transit reading for you. lllog@yahoo.com Love & Light Lanny IP: Logged |

There is an excellent book by Robert Hand that describes the transits affect on an individual, but you will need to know your natal chart and the current transits. (Planets in transit - Life Cycles for Living by Robert Hand)Fajita listed a great site and once you sign up you can look at the forcast trends as well as choose the extended chart selection. That will enable you to compare your natal chart to the current transits. For example, I have Saturn opposing my Sun and venus while Pluto is conjuncting my Venus and will be sitting on my sun within the next year or so. You should take lllog up on the offer to get a feel for the transits. It really does help in getting one prepared for things that will be coming into play. for me, anything involving saturn I feel alot (for instance its current opposition to neptune) - to the point where it almost outpowers pretty much any other influences other than moon transits, which I also appear to be very sensitive to.IP: Logged |

Hmmm very interesting! I am so focussed on transits lately as I am in a way expecting something to happen But it seems I do not know a thing. When I read what Pidua wrote, geez, I didn't know that! So it is necessary to look at current transits as well? How about your progression chart? It is so hard to answer Leo's question but I have been having this Neptune Moon conjunction and this really made me spiritually more awake to say it really short. Like N_wEvil made somewhat clear in his post about him being more sensitive to the Moon or Neptune. Could it be that some are more sensitive to planet x and others to planet y in transits?Interesting! Please reply! IP: Logged |

Hi Mercy, I am not really up on progressions, but I started to really look at Saturn when I started to feel so much pressure. It has been a hell of a year! I have a good friend who is also going through the Neptune - Moon conjunction. At astro.com it states: Valid during many months: This influence will cause many changes in your emotional and personal life. These changes may be quite hard to handle initially, but they can be constructive if you take the trouble to master the energies involved. The basic effect of this influence is to greatly increase your sensitivity to the world around you. This is one of the psychic influences, in that it stimulates your latent psychic abilities and makes them the vehicle for much input from the outer world. The problem, however, is that at first your conscious mind does not know what to do with this material, so you become confused or misinterpret the information from the unconscious. This happens especially when the conscious mind receives feelings that cannot be easily reduced to rational considerations. This influence may produce the following kinds of problems. First, there is the danger of being confused by your emotions, believing that you feel one way when your real feelings are quite different. This is particularly difficult in a love relationship in which you are romantically fascinated by someone who is completely inappropriate for you. There is a great danger also of being so fascinated by an idea or an ideal that you can no longer clearly see the world around you. You should be very cautious about taking up any idea or belief that seems strangely obsessive and fascinating now. Such ideas are significant and important, but they do not mean what you think they mean. Sometimes you will be very reluctant to deal with the real world under this influence, because its illusions are rather alluring. The challenge is to relate illusion and reality and not try to separate the two. If you can learn the language of the unconscious mind and discover what it is saying, you will gain great insight and wisdom through this influence. That would explain your seeking more spiritual connections, but you should beware of getting too mystical or letting it carry you away.
I hope this helps. I really like astro.com, it has so much information. You can also do charts on progression, synastry and others. Pidaua ------------------ "Loyalty to petrified opinion never yet broke a chain or freed a human soul in this world--and never will." Mark Twain IP: Logged |

Hi Ilog, I have saturn going over my DC right now and it scares me, I worry that I will lose something valuable in my life. Last year my dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer and Saturn was just getting close to my DC.He is doing good now but it was a harrowing time for me and my mom. Will this transit mean something bad?IP: Logged |

The biggest and most impacting transits so far (in terms of being the most difficult and challenging): transit Pluto square my natal Moon and Nodes - worst period of my life transit Neptune square my natal Saturn transit Chiron, transit True Node and transit Neptune conjuncting/crossing my natal ASC - a recent transit; currently transit Chiron is still conjuncting my natal ASC. transit Chiron square my natal Saturn (a current transit) transit Pholus square my natal Moon and Nodes (very similar to when transit Pluto squared my natal Moon and Nodes) - 2nd worst period of my life). Hi DepTaurus,Unless Mars or Uranus rules your 12th House (and not even then) I think you've got it mixed up. The planetary energies that express your isolation is Neptune opposite your ASC (conjunct DSC) and Neptune conjunct your Moon. Neptune suppresses and dissolves the ego when it touches the ASC/DSC axis and when it conjuncts, squares or opposes the Moon. With Uranus conjunct Mars, that's pure shocking and surprising energy. You may be showing some anger or taking surprise actions. Does any of that resonate with you? IP: Logged |
