Hi Divine,
I too have a Scorpio moon, and you are right, we "feel" a lot going on around us, which can sometimes be exhausting.

It has taken me years to work with my moon, rather than let it rule me, so to speak.

Listen to your gut, try not to take everything so personally, as we do tend to have very sensitive emotions, and be aware of your reactions towards others. This is the key, as Scorpio moons do tend to have 'nasty' comebacks when we feel threatened in any way, but by trying to understand this, it is easier to change this negative habit.

I always sense peoples true motives, which they find quite unnerving, but this placement of the moon is very intuitive, so it can't be helped.

I always sense peoples emotional states, well before they mention it, and others have always confided in me their deepest darkest secrets, which still amazes me. In fact, even someone that I have just met will also do this, which I find incredible.

We are "deep", there is no doubting that, passionate, loyal and lots of other good things.

As to whether you should act on your premonitions, ask yourself........."Will this benefit another", "Will my words sting or encourage others to soar", . Not everyone is open enough to hear these things, so try to make sure that your words are choosen carefully, with respect for others feelings, and then you may find these things are recieved far more positively.

Just my two cents worth!

Poops,

yes, yes, yes, yes, yes and yes. And... yes.

Everything you wrote goes for me, too! But I have Scorpio Moon in conjunction with Neptune and Jupiter, so I try to be "charitable".

We're actually pretty amazing, don't you think?

Have a nice one!

Hi all,
My moon is in Scorpio too, and in the 1st House, so guess how deep, passionate and complicated could I be. Sometimes I happen to have so much thoughts and feelings at the same time that I can't handle them. I have several moments of anxiety because of that.
As you poops, I sense true people's motives and emotional states. I'm also easy to confide in.
I find very very difficult to understand myself, and I guess this will happen all my life. Sometimes I've had some reactions I never thought before I could have. I've showed some strenght and radical positions that I never imagined before.
But how I like to be so special, I can't help it

Hugs!

Hello Poops

My date of birth is 06 04 1977. I was born at 05.00 am in Hemel Hempstead, England. I have not yet got to grips with the house thing.

Thank you soooo much for your help. I am only just beggining to realise if you use your scorpion moon for good just how powerful it can be. You are right you do have to work with it and I sometimes really have to fight the paranoia.

Is it true that if you share the same moon sign you are undoubtable soulmates?

Hi Divine ,
Providing that you D.O.B reads the 6th of April, this puts your Scorpio moon in the 8th house . Aries sun in the 1st house and Aquarius rising

I'm not too sure about the soulmates aspects to be honest, but I'm sure it does help in compatible emotions, which is always a big help.

From Howard Sasportas book ' The Twelve Houses ".

Moon in the 8th House......
" This position gives an innate openness and attunement to hidden forces operating personally or collectively, which might express itself as the ability to sense evolving social currents, especially subtle economic or business trends. However, those with the moon here could, at times, be confused or ' taken over' by powerful unconscious complexes which grip and overwhelm them.

As children, they would have been extremely sensitive to undercurrants in the home environment, especially the mother's deeper feelings, moods and frustrations, which they may still be 'carrying around' inside them. Present relationships will reawaken earlier emotional patterns and there is the need to delve into the past to uncover the roots of these problems.

Early experience with sex or death may have strongly affected the character. Sex or intimacy could be sought primarily for emotional security or as a way of forgetting the struggles of the world. This placement is usually very responsive to the sexual or emotional needs of the partner and will probably not find it difficult to adapt to these.

Very often, there is a natural capacity to help others discover a greater sense of their value and worth. They may literally ' care for ' other people's' money, or nurture others through times of trauma and transition.

If the moon is difficultly aspected, divorces, endings or seperations may be messy and fraught with more than the usual degree of anxiety, although hitherto untapped resources and strengths could be discovered through such breakdowns and crisis.

On a more mundane level, there is the possibility of inheritance of land or property, most likely through the mother or the partner."

Hope this helps Divine,

poops

Hi, all my Moonmates!

Do you also find that you are provocative in your way of expressing yourselves - I can barely restrain myself, but it's simply a part of my nature. But the thing that bothers me about it is that people usually interpret this as an attack. I don't really know why, I just try to find out as much as I can and maybe I'm too inquisitive or too direct and don't know how to stop when I want to know something. But I can't really help it, so most of the time I just stay quiet so that I don't upset anybody.

This characteristic of mine has become less evident with age because I learned to be more diplomatic (not that I approve of that, but it's just what people want), but it's still there.

And about the thing about soulmates - my boyfriend has the Moon in exactly the same degree as me and we understand and love each other so deeply (it's been 6 years now) that I can't imagine that with anyone else - and we know what makes us both tick, that's the main thing.

Poops, you're so accurate in everything you say! Please share some more! I see that you too have Moon conjunct Neptune. Do you also feel that you have to help others because you feel so deeply for those less fortunate? (what a stupid expression, by the way)

And if you have this in the 12th, I'd say you are very very mysterious, and, yes, so mysterious that you don't even entirely understand yourself. You probably have a very strong unconscious and you're highly intuitive. Did you ever take an astral trip?

And - thanks, Fajita!! You're pretty cool too, you know!

Hi Morgana, my moon mate...I loved that!

I appreciate your compliments, but honestly, these words are from far more knowledgeable people than myself, but thanks all the same.

Yes, Yes, Yes Morgana, I definately feel the need to help anyone who seeks my advice, as I love exchanging all this sort of information, while learning enormously at the same time, so that's a good observation re; my moon conj Neptune, as I'd never taken that much time to consider that before.

It is so true about helping others, as the minute that I become aware of a friend or family member in need, I just HAVE to help.
I cannot bear to see others that I care for suffering without trying to help in one way, shape or form.

I sort of know that somehow I am a 'catalyst' for change, so I just try to use this in a positive way towards others, but, naturally, I'm far from without faults, and this does not always happen.
But it's the thought that counts.

I'd still consider myself a 'preppy' in the Astrology Department, and trying to figure myself out is a never ending challenge , but boredom would kill me, so it gives my eternally restless mind something to ponder, so I'm hooked!

I too have had to turn around some very negative reactions re; my moon placement over the years, especially trying to tone it all down, so as not to scare others off with my intensity, but it has payed off in the last few years, and I actually think of it as a true gift and am eternally grateful for having it nowadays!

Mysterious is the exact word my girlfriend used just the other week to describe to me how some of our friends percieve me. I was a little amazed, but in hinesight I can see why.

And yes I do do heaps of work with my mind, the unconscious facinates me no end!
I believe that I 'Astral Trip' every night in my sleep.

Thanks for your interest.....

My scorpio moon is in the 10th. It is a diffucult placement for me at times as I constantly have career "issues". I can't seem to make up my mind as to where I'm going and what my life purpose is.

Bissie,

that's a tough question. I guess at times I feel so very generous that I want to literally give everything to someone if I get emotional (but I also have a Leo Asc., so that probably enhances the generosity part), and I would like to help everyone if I only could - my dream job is in a charity organization of some sort, I just hope I get there someday. But if someone does me wrong, I'm unable to forget and forgive, this is a really negative trait of mine.
I think of others first, and only when everyone is happy, I turn to myself. I'm naturally inclined towards religion in any form although I was raised as an atheist, I'm very lazy, I simply loooove comfort, I'm extremely sensitive to other's thoughts and feelings, that's why I'm rarely relaxed around people - because I feel exactly what they think or feel and I'm always surprised how other people can't see that. I'm especially aware of potential threats and I always sense the danger ahead but that's just because I'm concentrated on that. And I'm pretty emotionally unstable. But thanks to my Scorp Moon I can be really strong when I want to. And - this is a really funny thing - I'm very sensitive about places. For example, I only feel comfortable in certain places in a room, my bf always finds it funny how I always make such a big deal about where I sit or stand, just like a cat, but I just can't relax if it's "wrong". I don't know if anyone understands what I mean.

I think that's roughly all - the positive and the negative. There's more, but those things apply mosty to my Moon being in Scorpio and we all know about that...

As for the aspects: My Moon Cnj. his Moon, trine his Sun, trine his Mars, opp. his Saturn, conj. his Neptune, sextile his Pluto, we have a bunch of great Mercury aspects, my Venus trine his Jupiter, square his Pluto, my Mars square his Moon, trine his Jupiter, square his Saturn, square his Neptune... I don't know which ones interest you, so I just listed these. Oh, yes: my Pluto sextile his Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars and Neptune, trine his Saturn and conjunct his Uranus and Pluto.

Poops, yes, toning it down, that's been my life-mission. When I am being myself I'm just too intensive for those around me, so I really try to be cool, and hiding emotions now comes naturally to me, which is a sad thing, but when I am myself, I scare off people. Especially the men are usually afraid of me, even though I'm such a pussycat . I guess I project something that I'm not quite sure what it is.

But I've been always grateful for my Scorpio Moon because of the strength and depth it fills me with and I know I can conquer everything if I only want to.

My motto is: It's all or nothing at all!

P.S. Your unconscious can work miracles for you if you just programme it the right way.

Moonshadow, you'll find out in time!

Morgana,
thansk for your reply. It pretty much describes the person in question (my friend with the same Moon configuration as yours).
Funny that in our synastry his Scorpio Moon is apsected by my planets in absolutely the same way as your Moon is aspected by your b/f

one last question - do you openly discuss your love feelings with your beloved or your Scorpio Moon prefers to keep them undercovered?

Moonshadow,
I can relate to your work situations too, as I have Pluto Virgo in the 10th, sextiling my Sorp Moon in the 12th, and squaring my Saggi Sun in the 1st...

Very Complicated indeed!

Morgana,
I have the opposite hiccup, my intensity is taken as a real threat to alot of woman, but I've always thrived around men and have lots of special lifelong male friends.
Over the last few years the girlfriends I have now, I consider to be ' rocks' in my life, so it's taken awhile, but I have some great girlfriends nowadays.

to all.

For me is quite easier to get along with men too. It is true that some women feel threatened in some way when they notice my passion, and sometimes is a kind of "envy?" when they see my facility to have masculine friends. Seems like they think that I'm flirting, but I'm honest I don't. It's just men are easy, straight, and I feel more comfortable. I have a few good girlfriends, but they are close similar to me. Relations with women are better when we're not close friends. The closest friends (girls) I've had were Cancer. And yours?

Hi Wave
Definately Libra's and Aquarians.
I have Mars, Jupiter and Uranus all in Libra in the 11th house, so I'm tipping that's why.

Aquarians facinate me, in actual fact I love them, they are wild and really appeal to my adventerous spirit.
They inspire me, shock me, but never ever bore me, and they can be such enormous fun to be around!

The Libra girlfriends that I have are more cautious, but we seem to have mentally stimulating conversations and they are all very loyal towards me, so they just arrive in my life and there they stay

Hi, Bissie!

I forgot to add this, maybe the most obvious thing about my Moon-Jupiter conjunction: I cannot tolerate any injustice, I'm very emotional about it, to the point that I can't even watch a movie where someone is being mistreated with no way of defending him/herself. My bf is still amazed with that fact. When I was little, I used to solve disputes on the playgroud - all the children were coming to me to resolve something they were quarreling about, I was like some sort of a judge, and in school I always used to stick up for those that were being bullied or somehow mistreated. I'm not trying to brag or anything, god/dess knows that I have many negative traits as well, but this is something very strong in me still. I get so mad when I see injustice and I can't understand why someone would hurt someone if this person hasn't harm him/her in any way. I guess only when I learned about karma, it eased my mind a little, but I still cannot reconcile with that and I hope I never will, in fact.

Yes, funny about those aspects, that must mean something good, right, because my bf and I have a great relationship!

I'm in fact very open about my feelings (but only with people I know very well and trust), but I guess it's my blabbering Venus in Gemini that has to do with that. Usually I'm the one who doesn't allow for issues to remain unresolved. I drill and drill into my bf's and my emotions to the fact that it's unbearable for him, usually, until we come up with an answer, and he's very grateful to me for that because he is inclined to keep his feeling to himself. With other people, I conceal my true feelings to protect myself. But with my bf I learned that there's no danger of him using my feelings against me, although we're both masters of manipulation. Luckily, we both know when we're being manipulated, so there's no harm.

Actually my bf is the one that has more problems with revealing his feelings: usually he opens up when he drinks a beer or two... And then he literally overflows with emotion. I'm always the one who doesn't allow for issues to remain unresolved. I drill and drill into my bf's and my emotions when I see that something is bothering him to the fact that it's unbearable for him, until we come up with an answer, and afterwards he's grateful to me for that because otherwise he just keeps his feeling to himself. As for me, I just explode every once in a while and that's that.

And, Poops and Wave,

I'm a girl and I never had any trouble making friends with boys/men, quote (Wave): "Seems like they think that I'm flirting, but I'm honest I don't. It's just men are easy, straight, and I feel more comfortable." Exactly! While with women there's always some sort of jeaousy going around, usually directed at me, and I'm so sick of that already. Men are usually more sincere and I like talking to them.

Shine on, you Scorpio Moons!
