Transits give us the opportunity to look at ourselves, and present circumstances for us to develop and heal. In my opinion, transits do not "cause," they present energies and it is how we react and work with them that reveal the honest vulnerabilities of the innerself.

I apologise for not being around much and missing your posts. I do feel things will improve, this is just a passing phase and as the transits move on, your mood will improve.

The one thing that may be causing this is Saturn is making a Turbulent Angle (Saturn Contra-Parallel Neptune) to your Neptune. This is a critical time in your life and your judgement will be off. You won't think so, but it will. What you used to believe in strongly, you now may doubt and question. Most people who have this transit feel less love, become more selfish and often turn against those who love them the most. They lose faith in themselves, their loved ones and in their spiritual beliefs. The thing to do now is, do your best and make special efforts to be in close touch with your spiritual beliefs and those who have been kindest and most helpful to you in the past. And do not make any significant changes whatsoever in your life during this cycle. Saturn will push you to break off a good relationship or try to make you run into the arms of someone who is not good for you. Please do not do either because when this transit passes, you would regret doing either and you may not be able to put the pieces of your love life back together.

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. Does it matter if I don;t have a love life at all? It's funny b/c although it's not first and foremost, I have been toying with the idea of rekindling something with someone I know is bad for me. I won't do it though.

What does contra-parallel mean? And how long will Saturn be plaguing me like this?

I really hope this phase goes away quickly...it ain't pretty.

This aspect started around the end of June, becoming exact and it will last a bit longer, as Saturn is slow to move, but once it gets longer than 3 degress away, you will feel less of it.

A Contra-Parallel is a declination point of measuring the planets against the Celestial Equator, so it is their position to each other in the sky north or south of the CE. It is done only by the degree and not sign. So, what that essentially means is that transiting Saturn is 22 degrees South and your natal Neptune is 21.7 degrees North. As you can see, Saturn already started moving away by .3 degrees, not much, but it is on it's way. It will move away by 1/10 degree each month. But you see, just knowing this can make the difference, as knowing what is going on can help in dealing with it, besides, there will be good aspects to help along the way.
