Hi there,1) www.astro.com 2) if you aren't already a member, join and plug in your data 3) go to "Horoscope Chart Drawings" 4) select "Extended Chart Selection" 5) select "Astrodienst special" at the top right corner of the screen 6) select "Lunar Phases Fertility Calendar" 7) it is self-explanatory from there. It's me again, Just one more question: as I understood period has nothing to do with when you will get pregnant or does it? Those days which are marked in red are the ones when you will get pregnant? And do you add one more day before and after, just in case? Thank you sooooo much IP: Logged |

Hi chocoholic82,Actually, a female has two fertile times a month. Her biological cycle and her astrological lunar cycle. Here is an excerpt from an article by Marion March about the astro cycle. quote: Birth ControlSome astrologers have assumed that, if you know the day of your greatest fertility, by adding two or three days before and after, you have secured a fertile period_and, therefore, the remaining days of the cycle should be infertile and "safe." Please understand, right up-front, that this method of birth control is totally unreliable and not recommended. In today's world, where the average woman has taken many artificial substances from aspirin to birth controll pills, there are very few whose natural cycle still coincides with her astrological one; consequently, the expected "safe time" may be when her physical ovulation takes place_hardly a safe time. Even if you are fortunate enough to be in synchronicity with nature, nobody can predict exactly how long it takes the semen to travel up the birth canal to inseminate the egg. At times the sperm can "lay in wait" in the tubal area for as long as 48 hours. In fact, some doctors report that they know of cases where insemination took as much as 60 hours; thus, the "safe day" count can be way off. Do not use this cycle to ensure birth control.

Hi!Donna, my fertile lunar phase does not coincide with my expected ovulation time. In your experience have women conceived in their lunar fertile time despite the fact that they are not supposed to ovulate in that time? Thanks!

MS...Ok I know I'm not Donna, but as she said a woman has 2 fertile periods a month, one is the Midway day thru the cycle, or "Day 14". The other and MORE fertile time is the Moon Cycle date, when the Sun and Moon in the sky are the same angular distance apart as they were at her birth. YES, it is possible to have an Astro-Biology date that doesn't coincide with the traditional ovulation date (or Day 14)! In point of fact, many women who have trouble conceiving with the strictly medical date have an ABC date that falls DURING THE MENSES, and people have actually conceived in these cases. According to the Jonas study the ABC (Astrological Birth Control) date is 90% fertile while the day 14 method is statistically less so... can't recall the exact numbers off the top of my head. PLEASE remember if one is trying to PREVENT conception, you MUST allow at LEAST 3 days on either side of BOTH the DAY 14 and the ABC dates to prevent conception... due to the life of the sperm I would NEVER recommend any less... I'm also an RN besides being a medical astrologer. So if you can't "refrain from embracing" on the number of dates allocated, I would STRONGLY advise at the least a barrier contraceptive method. Hope that helps. Aselzion IP: Logged |

Hi Aselzion! Thanks for the info. I am actually trying to conceive. Have you had personal experience with women conceiving using ABC when their biological ovulation was not in that time? It is not that I doubt that it works but it will be nice to hear some case histories. Thanks again IP: Logged |
