Hellóú people of the good life! Smiling at ya!Can anybody tell me something about the North node sitting on someone's MC...exactly?! Is it that the two of them support each others goal in life?! Or they share the same goal?! Is there anything else to why this might be a special placement?! I'd like to know more (as usual). I thank you! Mercy IP: Logged |

Oh this is an interesting one! I can't wait to see the replies! I have a similar question: regarding the North Node in conjunction with someone else's ASC (or Desc., MC and IC for that matter). What does that mean? I'm sorry, Mercy, for not being able to answer your question AND for butting in like this... Hope you find your answer, though. morgana IP: Logged |

Hm...I'll be waiting around for that one, too - My MC and NN aren't quite conjuct (NN = Leo 29°08'45, MC = Leo 11°37'46), but they're in the same sign and in the 10th House, and my NN is conjunct my Mars (Leo 29°36'49).IP: Logged |

ooh neat question.i have a related one.. what about if your IC or MC is the same as the house rulers of your nodes? example: my north node (virgo) is in the 8th house, and my MC is in scorpio (ruler of 8th) my boyfriend is the opposite. his north node (libra) is in his 2nd house, and his MC is in taurus (2nd house ruler) so what i'm wondering is if what you say applies when you switch the sign for the house? and if any one has any idea what to make of this opposite energy dynamic, let me know! it bebaffles me.. Hi Mercy, I was very happy that you replied to my topic; you were the only one. Thank you! So, hopefully, I can provide some insight on your topic. I'm not certain whether I'm correct, but this is what I think.I love the Nodes, to me they are the best part of astrology. They tell you what you are to aspire to being, while telling you what habitual behaviors to avoid (south node.) Your north node behaviors are the positive aspects of that sign that are yet to be learned, while we need to avoid the negative qualities of south node sign. We usually fall back on these karmic qualities because they are what we know and feel comfortable with. Unfortunately, they can keep us from learning the lessons of this lifetime because they are easier to fall back on. We have a choice in choosing the lessons of this life or living our life in the south node mode. So, consider this with your question. (I'm not certain whether the NN is on the MC of his/her own chart or whether the NN is on the MC of someone else's chart.)If a person has their NN on their MC, then their life lesson is directly linked in with their career, public image, etc. The benefits and blessing can be wonderful. But, once again if someone chooses to act out of the SN this can create conflict in one's progress. Since this is related to public image - mistakes can be well know especially if the NN is negatively aspected. If someone's NN is on someone else's MC, that person once again can be a help or hindrance to the MC person. Ultimately the positive aspects of the NN should rise and be learned, it should be positive. The NN person is fulfilling a karmic destiny and the MC person should benefit from the NN person. However, the NN person still has his/her own lessons to be learned from his/her own chart. It's a matter of free will!
