I totally get this notion that we imagine we are being clear, when our language or references are murky, weird, or downright arcane for others... in my mind, I've flipped ahead and back several notches before I speak, and more than half the time I assume (uh-oh, THAT word... bleah...) that the other person has been riffling through a similar set of ideas, words and images too.

SOmetimes I speak and this stream of incredible consciousness flows out, then an impressed listener will ask for more, and then... blither. Or vice versa. T'ain't reliable.

AND THE WONKY HUMOUR!!!

And when we write, maybe we just imagine people can see wildly gesticulating hands, or facial expressions, or hear our sound effects... anybody else make sound effects?

I've got stolid old Taurus in Merc Rx, but trined to Uranus and Pluto and opposing Neptune, which keeps it, er, interesting.

And as for donmcbroom, I've been perusing Lindaland for awhile now, and have seen your helpful posts in several places, and never has it occurred to me that the mention of your site was offered for any reason than to avoid duplicating good information already compiled elsewhere. Please do accept Bissie's question as a sign of a healthy Lindaland, and please do continue to mention your site. Plenty of other Knowflakes mention commercial sites from which free information may also be obtained.
