...plus....MERCURY, VENUS, JUPITER, AND PLUTO...ALL IN SCORPIO

...mostly clustered in the 8TH SCORPIO HOUSE!

...so she has an overabundance of SCORPIO ENERGY! ! ! *sigh* ...and oh yes, she has Pisces Rising...in other words lotsa water...

Her mom (my ex daughter in law) has a little knowledge of astrology and so does my son, her dad......so we've discussed potential stubbornness...etc..and we've also discussed making sure that energy is channeled in the most positive way....*sigh*

...Carlo might remember that we discussed Tianna's chart on Greg's thread a few years ago when she was younger....and if I recall correctly, he mentioned something about her getting out in the world, and being an actress, dancer or some such....

Anyway, she kinda 'accidentally' got into a modeling contest, and wound up as one of 15 finalists, out of 250 kids....and consequently...next month...

She goes to a city in the south (all expenses paid, with her mom of course) where she'll be seen by several different modeling agencies, as well as Disney studios....

The trip involves having a super model (such as Naomi Campbell) teach her how to walk and turn down the runway in front of these people....having her own personal make up artist (NOT to be made up as an adult, let me add!)and hair dresser.......

Should she be signed by some agency, she could very well start modeling for catalogues....making TV commercials...or maybe even be in the movies......

I've watched this girl grow, and KNOW that this would be right down her alley, as she loves, to sing, dance, and act....

Now this all sounds very promising, and I know she would love it....but she is only nine years old....

By looking at her chart, could you tell me, if this is something she should do at this time? ...and if she does, will she be able to handle everything that "goes with" such a career? I have mixed feelings....

Looking at Tianna's younest pic there, she and I did kinda resemble at that age...

...so may I ask your opinion on her chart, and potential modeling career? *sigh*...

Ah, your beautiful Tianna. I will take a look and get back. I can see that intense Scorpio in her beautiful eyes, with a touch of a Piscean smile.

Oh I am so glad you said she wouldn't be made up as an adult, they grow up too fast, anyway.

Here's my two cents: all I know about Scorp kids is that they generally have built-in BS detectors, and that it's important for parents to be very honest with them.

I recently read an article on Tina Knowles, part of the mom-pop force behind the group Destiny's Child (mom of Beyoncé, and also their stylist), and I was struck by how solid and strong they were in protecting the girls when they were younger from the unsavoury aspects of show business -- apart from some strictness and love, they seemed to work super hard at surrounding the girls with good values and good people. I think that must help a young performer/model enormously.

So I wondered... is it also important to look at the parents' charts too, and see if they are ready for all this too?

Finally, a bit of practical advice: if she does go all the way with this opportunity, and especially if her parents can't give up jobs, etc., to support her in this career, then maybe finding a responsible mentor would help a lot. I knew an older lady who boarded young ballerinas from out of town-- she was okayed by the ballet school, and was part of a system in place to take care of these talented youngsters.

Thank you so much, for the nice words about my sweet Tianna...

Donna.........Tianna's chart is very unusual...I've known that from the day she was born...(I was right there).....and filled in her parents about some of the things they could expect...."warning" them about all that Scorpio energy....and how we must help her channel it in the most positve ways...*sigh*..........I also warned them about stubborness which would probably surface......but her mom is an Aquarius with Taurus Rising...so for the time being, anyway...her mom can match her there, not letting the child get the upper hand....

Now her dad? That's a different story....she has him wrapped around her little finger....(and gramma too ).....*sigh*....

But she and I have this great rapport...(I have Scorpio Rising and a Pisces moon)........when we're together....we "play."....we act out fairy tales, we tell stories to each other, and she goes into impersonations...

...one in particular...somebody called "Charlie.".....and she turns into a little boy....and this is ACTING....(NOT a multiple personality....)

She is such a treasure....I love having her around....

Just want to say, this war has caused me some inability to concentrate on much else these days, otherwise, I would have gotten to this sooner.

My grandfather was a Scorpio and he had the shrewdest mind and business sense of anyone I ever knew. I see this in Tianna. No one is going to pull the wool over her eyes!!
