Hello,

Does anyone know what its means if person A's north node conjuncts person B's Sun, Saturn and Pluto? Also, what does the trine of the North node to Venus and Mars indicate?
I'm working on a synastry chart and don't know what the aspects of north node to planets imply. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

B's Sun Conjunct A's North Node – indicates a relationship in which the two of you help each other to express themselves and advance socially. Your awareness of social trends helps B to receive more social recognition for creativity. B may in return, give added energy and drive to A's social ambitions. You both will play a crucial role in the timing of the other’s career.

More later...

The North Node in relationships has to do with popular fads, trends, and beliefs, and how you can utilize these to your advantage.

Venus Trine North Node – indicates the capability of one or both of you to take advantage of current social trends, popular beliefs, and fads for financial or social gain. One of you contributes to the others understanding of such trends and fads, while the other provides the charm and diplomatic ability to utilize and capitalize on this awareness.

North Node Trine Mars - indicates the ability for you to cooperate in action where fads, trends, and attitudes are concerned. One of you provides the other with insights into popular trends and fads allowing the other to put these inmsights into action in such a manner to benefit you both.

Really appreciated it Lanny!

But i'm confused. I remember reading somewhere that the aspects of the North Node signify divorce or separation - that the influence of the north node is considered malefic. Is that also true??

You can read a great many things out there about astrological things, but you need to always take what you read with a big grain of sand. If you see the words evil or malefic, I would disregard the message.

I have heard that some astrologers only pay attention to the conjunction of the nodes. Aspects like trines, squares, etc. aren't applicable because the nodes aren't actually heavenly bodies so they don't 'emit' rays or whatever like the planets do.

I don't really have a formed opinion yet on that..

Just thought I'd share, though.

That is certainly true when it copmes to transits. However in relationships, its different.
