OK, I have a couple questions.
I've looked up the info, and I'd like to know if my conclusions are right...
I have a wallop Pluto Transit coming up;
it's @ 19 SAG 33' 8" & already in my 2nd House (and has been for some time...which may go a ways towards explaining my fit of depression a while back), but will shortly be (or already is, depending on the orb used, I guess) squaring my
Sun in Pisces @ 22°40'46 in the 5th
Saturn in Virgo @ 23°43'35 in the 11th,
conjuncting my
Neptune in Sagittarius @ 22°38'17 in the 2nd,
and in a sextile w/ my
Pluto in Libra @ 21°08'41 in the 12th.

This is another one of those times I can't help but ask, "Now, what was I planning when I made out this chart and saw this transit...oh, oh, right: major transformation."
Carlo already gave me some wonderful advice on how to deal with what's going to happen...
I'm just not too sure exactly what's going to happen.
------THIS IS WHERE I BEGIN RAMBLING FOR MY OWN BENEFIT; IF YOU'D LIKE TO HELP ME BUT DON'T HAVE TIME TO READ A TOME, SCROLL DOWN TO WHERE IT ENDS------

This house transit is supposed to bring upheaval in either/both my material values (possessions given worth) and my own values - my sense of self worth.
I really don't care all that much about possessions - they're nice to have, but certainly not essential - so I don't think that that's where it's going to hit me.
So,
1) It's going to hit my values and my value, rather than that stuff that I value. Or something like that

OK.
Then there's its square to my Sun.
That's supposed to bring a feeling of being drained coupled with insomnia. I've kinda already begun to feel that, but it's not that bad. I feel drained, but just drained of what was once there, to some extent - empty, but ready to be filled back up. That's not all that unpleasant.
The insomnia's hit me, though. 3-5 hours of sleep have been my norm for the past few weeks; I've noticed that, too, with my Mom & Step-Mom (both of which are Pisces @ roughly the same degree as me).
So,
2) Being drained - but ready to be filled back up - and ridden w/ insomnia. The emphasis will be upon that which is ruled by the 5th House, on this front. So, there's going to be a major readjustment of the way I view life itself, and love.

Next, the Square w/ Saturn - that's supposed to bring a feeling that everything I need for safety and security is being destroyed. Again, for me, that's more my ideas.
But, it also brings the persistance & discipline for needed change.
OK. So,
3) The destruction of my ideas...involving community and friends, perhaps my hopes and wishes, too (since my Sat's in the 11th).

Hm.
Then there's the Neptune conjunction. Again,
4) There seems to be the theme of transformation (and/or destruction) of my past dreams, illusions, fantasies, hopes, etc - especially those which build the foundation of my conception of the world (being in the 2nd).

Luckily, bobmarksastrologer.com says re: the Pluto sextile w/ transiting Pluto -
As always with Pluto, utilize this transit for fixing things up (rehabilitation) including yourself, and for throwing things out (elimination). And of course, don’t forget that great sex! The smooth aspects give you the ability to make changes without the stresses, strains, and obsessions of the square.
So,
5) I've given myself a transiting resource for all the upcoming changes.

------DONE RAMBLING------

In the above, I decided that this transit would mean:
1) It's going to hit my values and my value, rather than that stuff that I value. Or something like that
2) Being drained - but ready to be filled back up - and ridden w/ insomnia. The emphasis will be upon that which is ruled by the 5th House, on this front. So, there's going to be a major readjustment of the way I view life itself, and love.
3) The destruction of my ideas...involving community and friends, perhaps my hopes and wishes, too (since my Sat's in the 11th).
4) There seems to be the theme of transformation (and/or destruction) of my past dreams, illusions, fantasies, hopes, etc - especially those which build the foundation of my conception of the world (being in the 2nd).
5) I've given myself a transitiing resource for all the upcoming changes.

There is/is going to be a major upheavel in/cleaning out of my ideas and values involving self, self-worth, community, friends, groups in general, life, and love. Many of my old patterns, thoughts, and dreams are being or will be decimated, but I have also the energy and initiative to re-build them into a more solid and healthy form.
Does that sound about right?

Also, one last question:
Will the fact that it's touching my T-Square activate it in some way?
In that case, another dimension emerges: My Sun is the focal point of that T-Square, which would mean that it's issues would be especially active, right?
So, I've got to mull over the transformations possible on a 5th House Pisces Sun.
Also, would it bring my "empty leg" more into center stage (it being my empty 8th House Gemini)? So, could it be also that a needed point of focus which may be turned into a resource will be the energies of my house of transformation (and sex! YES! ), and "other people's resources", ruled by the explorative sign of Gemini? .
OK, so I'll be, or should be, investigating the mysteries of transformation, regeneration, sex/death/rebirth themselves in order to get the full benefit of this transit.
If you're still reading, what do you think of my analysis?

Proxieme, I have Pluto transiting my 12th house which sounded challenging . Lanny did a reading for me & this is what was said about Pluto:Pluto

The purpose of Pluto’s transit is to break down old structures and replace them with new structures. Unlike Saturn whose task it is to help you see and remove rigid behaviors and beliefs yourself, Pluto does it for you. Pluto operates in two phases; in the first phase, Pluto just moves in and tears things up. But, and this is very important “but”, in the second phase of a Pluto transit a reconstruction of self takes place and a new more healthy structure is created.

Before anyone thinks that there is something malefic about this process, it’s not that at all. This is exactly what you need in order to evolve and grow, and what’s more its inevitable. Pluto will not be denied. All that we can do is to help these changes to take place in a positive manner. The more we fight it, the harder it will be for us. One author likens Pluto’s effects to the pressure that builds up in a dormant volcano, until unless there is some way to reduce the pressure, ends up blowing the top off the mountain and creating havoc for everyone.

The house that Pluto is transiting signifies the area in your life where these major life-altering changes will be taking place. You can no longer just patch up or bury this area of your life, what is needed now is total transformation and Pluto provides that.

It sounds like your analysis hits it on the head... Great sex, now that would perk up a girls outlook on Pluto

hi proxieme,

i just read your analysis and find it to be very well done. i can see that you are learning how to integrate all the bits and pieces into a coherent whole

There is/is going to be a major upheavel in/cleaning out of my ideas and values involving self, self-worth, community, friends, groups in general, life, and love. Yes and no.

Will the fact that it's touching my T-Square activate it in some way?

Yes.

So, could it be also that a needed point of focus which may be turned into a resource will be the energies of my house of transformation (and sex! YES! ), and "other people's resources", ruled by the explorative sign of Gemini?

Yes. Right now, T.Pluto is directly opposite your Vertex angle. Scorpio rules the 8th house and Pluto is its planet. Something worth meditating on, as your 8th house cusp is in Gemini, with its ruler Mercury in your 4th house in Retrograde. These are the water houses and karmic.

A.

juniperb -
Thank you for that information! It's really helpful when mulling all of this over.

Aph -
Thank you very much for your detailed analysis could I throw out a few more questions?

"Yes and no."
How no?

Woo-hoo re: the T-Square - I didn't read anything about that, it just made sense that it would

I do not know what that would entail...
I would like to, though
