Neptune (especially aspecting one's Moon) gives a sense of social justice, a sort of Uni-versal social conscience, and brings a very empathic and intuitive nature that grants the power to right the wrongs of the world. Your temporal confusion is just a byproduct of learning how to deal with the Energies you so easily pick up from others.------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Wow, that's a lot of Piscean progression, Heidi! It seems to me that life often brings us changes for which we do not feel prepared, nor would have chosen due to our cultural conditioning. Who of us would choose to feel confusion or pain, yet only a sociopath would never feel either!! If you are in a Neptunian phase now, you can use your strong natal Capricorn energy to pick a focus and create a safe space for yourself while all this sensitivity, intuition and spirituality plays such a big role in your life. Neptune is so subtle and internal, and often needs seclusion-- maybe use your Capricornian abilities to set aside a room or corner in your home or life for yourself. The dissolving, all-One nature of Neptune resonates to art, beauty, music, metaphysics, and the Christ-nature within. When I went through a Neptunian phase many years ago, I spent a lot of time crying, triggered by a break-up, but a wise woman helped me see I was really crying for the world, and all its pain. I cried for months, until I was done. There was no right or wrong about it. Whatever you choose to do during your Neptune phase, or whatever it brings to your soul, surrender is a key word for contemplation and meditation. I don't know if you know Tarot, but an appropriate card for Neptune is The Hanged Man. Neptune takes us from the deep dark murky lake of disillusion and sweeps us down to the ocean. We are cleansed when we let go, and allow mysterious forces and the unseen to transform and heal us. We stop sinking and become buoyant. The certainty that "all is ruined!" is simply overtaken by the magnitude of understanding a force that is bigger than we are, bigger than the past. No, I know that my ego would not have chosen a Neptune phase, but luckily for my soul, my ego is not in charge. If it was, what a self-satisfied little underarm deodorant commercial I would be! Ewwww!! Lunargirl IP: Logged |

i ve read other threads on suicide and depression and most people think that moon in cancer has a depressive suicidal effect.i think that someone that has 6 or more planets or a majority of there planets in feminine negative signs are more likely to be deppresed or suicide.also alot of water signs in a chart could indicate suicide. also any planets that are in the 8th house of sex money and death could indicate something with suicide. Considering what I know about suicide/suicidal idealization outside of astrology, I really think it's more complex than just looking at a transit here or there. Suicide comes from such a complexity of biological factors (mental illness does tend to change the brain over time or the brain's biology itself causes the illness), environmental factors, and often a lifetime of traumatic events that build. That would make it sound like you'd have to look at multiple transits and the entire natal chart for indications of potential mental illness and/or trauma. Also, people who commit suicide often don't just up and commit suicide one day, they have often thought about it multiple times previously, and planned it too. So where does suicide really begin? I looked at all the times I have been suicidal, and there's really not one transit or aspect that kept showing up, although I can note that the most difficult stuff came when Pluto went through my 8th and was conjunct my Neptune. This ultimately was when Pluto was also square my natal Sun. But you can see natally that I might suffer mental issues/severe depression and trauma, and I suffer from depression even now that Pluto is out of that house and no longer making those aspects. I just think you can't tell in the chart, due to the problems that lead to suicide not being simple, easy ones. IP: Logged | |
