Sorry to throw a 'spanner in the works'..... my mum is a Taurean, we have never got on, she never has anything nice to say to me, she's bitter, twisted and causes no end of trouble within the family.She's not happy unless she's causing some kind of row or upset and she says the most hurtful things IP: Logged |

that thing about taurians being creatures of habit ; well i resent that.
i m a taurian & i change my mind more quickly than my mother (a gemini) does.
i have changed around 6 places of residence.
i change my hairstyle every week;i love travelling and seeing new places.
i also like trying out different varieties of food.
and i truly believe in the maxim,

there r a few mutants amidst every sunsign.
adolf hitler & florence nightingale both belong to the same sun sign TAURUS ,but there r no similarities , right?

i was just exagerating as usual;u know adding a bit of drama to life

i'm a taurus gemini cusp(may 20) I must say Tauruses do have a special healing quality to them. All signs do, and tauruses is very instinctive, silent and earthly. I think Tauruses would make great healers of the body.
And on a side note, i know NO taurus males. My best friend's father is a taurus, but other than him....

I am a Taurus;>, I know a few male Taurus and they tend to stick to the same women, or at least women they know. Taureans won't pick someone up unless they are in distress, or really funny. Usually the best way to get along with a Taurean male is to ask his advice about friends, dinner, something. If you don't take his advice though, he won't be happy. Taurus men do not like loud behavior or scenes, and they are neat and organized. Just say you are hungry out loud and either a Taurus or Libra will look over and offer to help you find the best pizza place in town. Taurus men like the good girl, Libras like their girls a little bad. In my experience anyway. I always make them mad with my Scorpio or Aries friends but I like them as friends.Natasha IP: Logged |

I have a few friends and family members who are taurean and i absolutely adore them. However I recently met a Taurean guy and we seemed to be getting along well. He suddenly seems to have decided we're not... he's not calling me or returning my calls anymore. This surprised me because I've always thought Taureans were quite honest and upfront and assumed he would just say something if he was not longer interested.Any insights into Taurean behaviour? Natasha-so true! And definitely, the way tyo a Taurus man's heart is through his stomach. lioneye68-my grandpa was a Taurus (with Libra Moon) and he was an accredited baker.  Too bad I didn;t inherit the sweet tooth. Most of my good female friends are Taureans. They also make up a considerable porton of my longer-lasting friendships. It reminds me of Linda writing about an astrologer she once called in the middle of the night who asked her what sign her husband was. When she said "Taurus", he agreed he would have to be seing as how Taureans are so patient.  IP: Logged |

TOO funny! I just got through talking with a Taurus buddy of mine and he was completely talking about food as a turn on, among some other things. It took everything in me not to tell him how typically Taurean he was.

Do I dare say it? Us Taureans are modest and PROUD OF IT! Sorry...I couldn't help myself. super_bull: Florence Nightengale is my hero! I emulate her. You will find more Tauruses in a helping position than any other profession, particularly healthcare. a lot of Cancers too. White Witch: Most Tauruses are very nurturing. Mother Earth is our leader and we need to care. We are perfectly happy to guide you and nurture you and watch you grow emotionally. But our stubborn streak really makes it hard for us to let go when you are ready to leave us. So we can come across as controlling, possessive, freakish dominatrixes when we really care about someone. And as much as I hate to admit, we really can hurt the ones we love. I know I have said hurtful things to ppl I really care about, only because I want them to hurt as much I do. And I always regret it. But I've learned to use my bullheadedness to force myself to admit my wrong-doings instead of refuse to acknowledge. Of course I'm still learning and growing... Generally, I think Tauruses are very versitile in their creativity. Every Taurus I know is creative, and in many ways. We all love painting and drawing, cooking and baking. My friends and I create in the kitchen. One of my Taurus friends is an amazing artist in many ways. She makes the most beautiful cakes for weddings, birthdays, any occasion. She has been hired to paint murals in boutiques and shops around town and she makes stained glass sculptures. But you know, when I think about it, we're not boastful or proud people. All the Tauruses I know tend to downplay their abilities, or need reassurance that our creations are "good enough" EightDegrees: I can't balance my checkbook to save my life. He's got some air in him..Aqua Moon and Gem. Rising. He thinks Astrology is phooey, anyway.But we did have a conversation like this this morning: me: "Your birthday's May 17, right?" him:"yes" me: "bull." him "Seriously, May 17, 19xx" me: "no, you're SUCH a bull" LOL ok, maybe that was only funny to me. All of my other Taurean friends LOVE cooking. They're the best people to go out to eat with. And Librastoo. lol oxychick that was funny. oh those taurean males. i do have a taurean female acquiantance and she loves to talk about food! afterwards, we must always have a moment of silence to think about the food. i'll see her close her eyes and i have to try so hard not to laugh. we had art together, and her stuff was great. always original. next to my stuff, it was brilliant. of course i barely passed art. she is really good at math too, can you believe it? a taurean helpin a virgo w/ math? it's true, i'm shockingly terrible with numbers. english is much more my thing. yeah, she's good at that too. she's good at everything. except for gym, in which we both get pummeled. she is so perfect dammit! taureans are quite brilliant. i had a taurean teacher to which i was strangly attracted (see favourite teacher post). he is just about 50 and i am approaching 17. he is so charismatic however, and i love the way he says my name. he loves music too, very typically taurean. i have always been attracted to older men. i don't know if its to compensate for the father i never had or what. could be my pisces descendant. whatever the case...no, but taureans are great. right now, my best friend is a gemini, very flighty, but great sense of humor, very sweet. i will always wish for more taurean friends though! taurean MALE friends haha very sexy :P IP: Logged |

i being a taurian myself i don't know why i don't have as many taurian friends;with most of em it is just hi and bye. 
i love food and my cancerian sister and myself spend hours just eating or talking abt eating. 
but the one thing that is untaurian -like is that I JUST CAN'T COOK.i am hopeless at it.

Hi dorkus I've been wary about wandering over to the favorite teacher thread. You see, I went to a school where we were all very close with the teachers as the school was very small. One of my very favorite teachers was, you guessed it, a Taurus (Oy is he a Taurus! Talk about squared personalities! I'll bet anything he has some air in him though) Anyway, I thnk I either the only or one of the very, very few students he still keeps in contact with, and he's very sick right now.  But, and it was so strange to see you write it, I know about that attraction thing. Anyway, this Aquarian loved math and it was one of my favorite subjects. My closest friend throughout that high school and one of my closest friends still, to this day, is a Taurus. She originally went to school for art, has a very natural flair for decorating and just a great eye for well...anything. And she LOVES to cook. Hi super_bull I never thought about it until you mentioned it, but all of the Taureans I know are just not physicaly active people. Most of them have weight problems in that their weight can fluctuate very easily, but the one from my earlier post turned that around. Perhaps it's that food lover's paunch. I also know some Taurus Moons who live to cook. (And don;t worry super_bull, I can't cook either.) IP: Logged |
