Hi Oxy!  Saturn has just finished conjuncting my natal Venus after about a year and a half. I guess that would be about as stressful as the opposition? It's a difficult time, but keep your chin up and stay happy, you'll be okay.
You'll probably have to step back, take a good look at your life, turn it upside down and shake it all out before you stuff what you still need back in the bag.....which may be very different from what you want, and that will cause you some degree of pain, depending on how hard you resist. But it'll make you re-evaluate your beliefs and ideals and make you stronger for the wear. You have Venus in Capricorn?? I don't know why I thought you had Venus in Leo.

Hi SunShyne! Yep, Venus in Cappy in either th 7th or 8th house. I have a Moon-Jupiter conj. in Leo in the 3rd. What you said seems right on...I'm having struggles with what I want and what I need...and I can't really seem to make much of a sound decision with either. IP: Logged |

This aspect often indicates some sort of crises in your personal life. Current relationships may feel less fulfilling now than before. During this period, all relationships will be tested to see if they are still valid for your growth. If they are, great, but if they don’t contribute to your overall self-growth, they need to be discarded. At the same time, this isn’t a time for starting a new intimate relationship; it’s a time for endings not startings. At this time your need for belonging in a relationship and your need to be a distinct independent are in conflict. You may be feeling lonely within a relationship, because you don’t feel that you are being seen and reacted to as an individual. Or you may be behaving so much as an individual within your relationship that your significant other becomes unhappy and wants out. It is critical to exam your relationships now to determine exactly what your roles are within them. It is likely that in many of your relationships, one or the other of you is not pulling their share of the load. When this occurs, tension arises, eventually there is a blowup. You may find yourself in a new relationship, in your personal or professional life that places very heavy demands on you. This relationship has Karmic roots, and must be experienced. Leaving it will only result in another of the same type. What you must do now is face this relationship directly, and do what you must do to get through it. At some point, you will realize that you have learned the lesions needed from this relationship, and it can now be ended. Wow Lanny...can you be a little more accurate? I'm being ultra sensitive to where current relationships reside in my life lately, and I have lots of contradictory feelings (but being an Aqua with Gemini Rising, I find it pretty easy to rationalize them )Aphrodite-I'm glad to hear you came out unscathed. Trials and tribulations are a part of life, and I like to think I've weathered a few pretty well (if I do say so myself). That realization rarely makes the tough times easier though. IP: Logged | |
