Can anyone comment on Mars Rx and fertility? I have a pal who's been trying to get pregnant, and it seems to me that a big Mars transit like this is not the most fertile time, in terms of its symbolism -- any thoughts?

She can still get pregnant during Mars Rx, I can calculate her dates, yet there is a fee. I would suggest that she wait until October, yet if it is essential now that she get pregnant, I can help. If you want Lunargirl, put your email address here and I'll write to you

Love,
Carlo

Goddess bless you, Carlo!

I'll ask her tomorrow about what she wants, and respond to you in this thread.

Thanks!

Hi crystelle
How did you feel the last time Mars was rex?
That would have been 2 years ago.

I can relate to you saying that you don't normally feel the rex so much. I have Merc rex in my natal chart - Merc goes rex 3/4 times per year and I find that I don't usually have too much trouble with it....but that's because I'm used to the rex energy as I was born with it.

What are you thoughts about that?
Sue

goodness, i cant remember exactly what was going on two years ago. was it this time (exactly) two years ago?

this time around on the other hand has been unforgettable. Early morning of the 29th, my husband told me he wanted to be single! it was totally unexpected, and totally out of character, he moved out within 48 hours! he is not the most spontaneous person...

although I cant remember exactly what i was doing two years ago, it was nothing this dramatic. I will really think back the next few days and try to figure out what was going on. It was actually 3 months after we got married. so we have been married 2 years and 3 months.

as far as mercury Rx, i have yet to notice any tough times. things seem to go better than usual, if anything.

thanks sue!

Hi Crystelle
Sorry to hear about your husband moving out Check his chart to see where Mars & Uranus are currently transiting (they're both currently retro in Pisces).

The astro site is currently down for maintenace so I can't check the exact dates of the last Mars rex. Mars retros every two years so it would have been retro sometime in 2001.
www.astro.com have online ephemeris's where you can check the exact dates of the retros but as I mentioned the site is down for maintenance right down - should be up and running again later today.

sue,

i have been to this site and i have all of mine and my husbands information programmed in, so i am familiar with it. exactly where do i need to go to find this information?
(is it in the "additional chart selection"?- progressed chart? this is on area of astrology that I am lost in... transits. I have no idea how to find where they are, and I would really love to know how to do that!

thank you so much

also, i just thought about this, but since mars is retro in pisces and I am pisces rising, that may help explain why i am "feeling" this so hard?

Hi, not sure what affect this transit would have. Im an Aqua with moon in pisces.

The 24th was the worst day of the year for me!! Only had 3 hrs sleep, i was dying with sinuitus/bacterial infection...Horribily excruciating pain i couldnt eat, sleep, move, talk, think. 100x worse then a migrane. My entire head was under intense pressure, throbbing, my body was paralyzed...i thought it was my last day.
Today im feeling much better.

This Aqua. has taken some lumps, bumps & bruises this go around with the Rx.

Rather it was 'ment to be timing' or the Rx is unclear to me. It`s been a physical and emotinal ride and I`m ready to jump ship. I`ve flucuated between a stoic acceptance to an aggressive 'oh no you don`t' attitude.

I`ve sustained some of the silliest yet painful injuries. All doing w/ Aqua weakness`s ie calves and ankles.

Time for a change juniperb

Right now my friend wants to check herself out medically, plus she's just had a lot of work come in so right now she's dealing with that. I have the lovestarz URl and will pass it on to her.

Hi crystelle
When you first enter to astro.com site look at the menu list on the left hand side. Scroll down and you'll see "3000 year ephemeris" listed - click on that and it brings you to a page where you can click on the relevent year. Click on the year you want to look at and that will then bring up the planetary positions for the whole of that year. When you see "R" by the side of the planetary degree - that's when the planet retrograded and when you see "D" by it - that's when it goes direct.

Hope that explanation makes sense
Sue

PS: Mars went retro on 12th May 2001 at 29 degrees Sagittarius and then direct on 20th July 2001 at 15 Sagittarius.

Hi Crystelle
Do you know how to get a natal chart via astro.com?

Once you've logged in and clicked on the persons name who's chart you want, it takes you to a page that says "Please select your free horoscope". Scroll down that page until you see an option "Extended Chart Selection". Click on that and it will take you to a page where you have a lot of choices re what type of chart you want to look at.

These are all "drop down" boxes will numerous choices. On the left where it says Natal Chart Wheel - scroll down until you find "natal chart and transits" - select that option.

Where it says "select chart style" - leave that option as the web default style.

Where it says "house sytem" select which house system you want to use. I personally prefer koch - but some people prefer placidus or the equal house system.

Where it says "start date for charts marked with *" - put in the date you want the chart for.

The only other box to change is the one that says "Options for HQ charts" - scroll down to where it says "reduced image size 75%" - select that option. (This just makes the chart fit better on the screen and on the paper if you want to print it out)

After all that then click on "Click here to show the chart". It will then create the chart for you. Note the transits are marked on the outside of the chart wheel.

One other thing.....at the top right hand side of the page with the chart on you'll see another option (it's in blue writing) "click to get additional tables"
Click on this and it will take you to another page where it lists all of the aspects (natal and transits).

Hope that helps you out. Let me know how you get on.
Sue

Yay, almost out of the woods.

It`s been a heck of a ride. Kudos to those who hung tight to their surf board & are riding the retro`s storm out!!

Mars in Pisces is almost over. Now, I'm guessing it's going to be going into Aries next (??). What can we expect from that?

My handy little Pocket Astrologer has Mars going SD at 3:52 a.m. eastern time on Saturday, as we all know...and it will reach 1 degree of Pisces by October 4th, so six days. Hey, as long as it's even crawling along in minutes and not degrees, I'll be happy! This has been a tough transit for me.

1scorp, Mars will remain in Pisces until December 16th.

Ahhh... thanks for helping me out

Another question... I've seen comments on certain activity until Sept. 26th. Now, does this mean that it will still be going on until Dec.?
