Hello all!I have a question to my north node, or rather my true node (is that the same?), which is right on the cusp between scorpio and sag, in my first house (0°55 Sag). When I'm trying to interpret this, do I have to use a mix of both scorpio and sag, or just sag...and how does that influence my south node? I would assume it's also right on the border between taurus/gemini? How would you guys interpret that? Thanks for your input! Nackie IP: Logged |

Nackie The only reason that I know of for distinguishing between the north node and the true node would be related to the use of the Sabian symbols......In other words, it is not very important at this time. Now, since the nodes travel backward in the chart, you may consider your to be just Sagittarius-Gemini.....the eternal teacher student who teaches to learn to teach to learn.....and so on. ------------------ You are a blessing and you are blessed. Thank you, Cat for the links, lots and lots of interesting reading!Thank you rev. Alice, thanks for your interpretation. From one of Cat's links I read that the south node is where we feel comfortable and the north node where we have to learn to be at. How do they work together when you say that is the teacher-student...I haven't figured them out yet. Thanks for helping! Nackie IP: Logged |

Hi Nackie Yes the S Node is where we feel comfortable - it's what we know. In times of stress we can have a tendancy to retreat back into our S Node as it feels safe/comfortable but we shouldn't stay there too long as that then creates other problems. The N Node is (as you rightly say) where we have to learn to be at. It's good to also look at the transiting Node as whichever house in your chart it's currently transiting shows the area that you should be currently working towards (the natal NN is our life time "goal" ). When you're moving in the right direction you just "know it" you feel great/motivated etc etc. Sue IP: Logged |

Hello Sue!I'll take a peek at the transiting node, I find the nodes and Chiron very interesting at the moment! I wanted to ask if it's still possible to join in on the astrology course? It sounds very interesting. Thanks again, Nackie IP: Logged |

Hi Nackie Yes please do join the astrology course. It's an ongoing course so you can join at any time. Just send Randall (webmaster) and email and he will arrange for you to have free access to the course.Randall's email is..... webmaster@linda-goodman.com Yes the Nodes and also Chiron are very interesting. It's not easy getting information about them though. Jan Spillers book "Astrology for the Soul" is all about the Nodes and has tons of info. Nothing re aspects to the Nodes though or transits. Barbara Hand Chow's book "Chiron" is also very good. Sue IP: Logged |
