Hi Shaun,

I read over your analysis. It would be good if the chart could be posted so we can see visually the aspects you are using. I noticed that you use the archaic rulership definitions for signs and planets. Jupiter-Pisces, etc.

Also, how did you come to arrive at those birthtimes?

Have you read Gooberz? There are many details of her life interwoven cleverly in the script. You may want to check it out. As there were many inconsistencies Linda was concerned about.

What house system are you using? What size orbs do you use for aspects?

If it is not possible to get the chart onto here, would you post the details of how you put together the chart so I can generate it myself to look at?

Hi again,

Just wanted to share with you observations

I had read that the sign we pass away in is the sign that we were in the most recent past life. The Progressed Sun at the time of her death was in the 8th house (according to your chart). Saturn in some cases, represents the sign we were in our most recent past life. Her Saturn was in Scorpio. The transiting Sun, I think was in Scorpio too.

Very interesting connection.

Also, I would think regardless of chart time chosen, the Venus-Jupiter square would be present. An indication of diabetes.

How would you connect her children to your chart? In most cases that I have looked at charts using Koch, the relationships the 5th house has indicates that at least one child (if a person does have kids) will embody the signs and/or planets within the 5th. In the Koch system I use, she has Scorpio ending the 5th house, with Vertex there. Michael is a Scorpio. I do not know of the Moon and Rising signs of her other children (Saggitarius, Capricorn, and Aquarius).

hi Shaun

you will still be mailed btw, just thought id start this thread rolling

i am so tired. i am trying to stay awake for just a little longer... so that i can be a little bit in sync for tomorrow, i shall be seeing my beloved grama for the first time in many months. my mother was living with her so i did not go there. its a bit of an important day for me so i have to be sure i am able to wake up on time.

hi lovely

lindas chart was rectified at another forum, and she was given a gemini rising and a libra moon. her moon is still libra but with Shauns rectification he places her ascendant at scorp, if i remember correctly. even though the post it right there i am toooooooo tired to look. im that fatigued.

yes i am posting... trying to stay awake. im afraid memory faculties are beyond me now, and scrolling down and checking just seems like a journey of a thousand steps right now. i know i am weird. i dont question it anymore.

hi!
i remember reading in 1 of her books that she was in a bookstore once and she had a spat with a capricorn man and she said something like "the goat can't top a double aries". doesn't that point to an aries asc?

yes ana, i just verified that through the article referenced. it was moon in libra, which makes sense given her charming graceful appearance.. or lollipop face as she had mentioned in sun signs, lol.

her eyes seem to have a scorpio influence fer sher.

Hi Shaun,

in the recent Astrodatabank obituary for Lois Rodden, it's implied that Jupiter is often involved at the time of death. Any thoughts on this, based on your own research, or John's?

FYI, here's the link http://www.astrodatabank.com/LoisLifetimeAchievement.htm, and the info mentioned is at the bottom of the page:

quote:
She chose a powerful time to leave. Neptune was on her ascendant and a Jupiter/Moon conjunction straddled her descendant. She always told me that Jupiter should be involved in a death because from the soul's point of view it was such a great boon to leave.

after researching my 1 degree asc in cancer and personally knowing 2 prominent astrologers.. both with gem ascending...i would venture to say.. why not Gemini asc for Linda? after all.. gemini rules writing ability and communication..intellectual wonderings and curiosity into other ways in which we relate.

hmm.

hey, how's things in the Boogie-Down?

you said "the Aries-rising horoscope did not place Uranus in a prominent house, which a professional astrologer would have. Nor did it produce any 3rd/9th house interceptions, indicating that of a writer."

Those are generalities, not certainties or even probabilities. And when someone puts so much of themselves out there, writing and publishing on their life and from the heart, there is an automatic requirement of self-preservation and keeping several things to oneself.

It is a time-honored tradition to be inaccurate with your birthtime, to throw people off, even to make up new dates altogether. Your attempt at reconciling Linda's chart certainly has merit, yet it cannot be accepted as absolute truth. Linda was smarter than you or I, and I am confident that despite your decent efforts, you are still way off. Linda made it so that her chart will never be reconciled, and after spending similar time years ago doing the same, and working closely with other astrologers to crack her code and rectify the old girl, it is clear that while any reconciled chart may be arguably accurate, as your Scorpio Rising chart is here, it still remains a best effort. Linda's birthtime and date will remain unknown, as she wanted it, and as it should be.

Nice chart though, thanks for spending the time looking into it and discussing it It's always nice to bring the topic back to Linda

And Amy, Linda felt that our Saturn sign in this life is our Sun sign in our most previous life. Where did you get the information you mentioned about the sign you pass away in? I'd like to read that

Love,
Carlo

Thanks Shaun, I appreciate your input! I haven't done such research myself, just noticed the odd summary here and there, as in Lois Rodden's obit.

Yeah, Carlo or others who may know why, how come Linda would want to confuse people about her own chart, if she knew her correct day and birthtime? Isn't making available one's birthdata at some point -- even posthumously -- a bonus and proof of astrology? I would imagine an astrologer would want to do exactly that, although maybe not within their own lifetime.
