Sorry to hear that Lion...

You would think... at the very LEAST he would want to serve as a Love-Slave to a sexy-ass Leo woman like yourself on her birthday...

Oh well his loss...

Awww, Lion. The same thing happened to the Leo hairdresser.

I could tell it was really bothering her, so I took her out

Aww, you're so nice 1scorp. Too bad you live so far away.

Thanks for the compliment LL Yeah, you'd think...Virgo's are odd sometimes. He's turning out to be one of those "only on Sunday morning, in the bedroom, with the door closed" kind of Virgos. Which doesn't work out too well, because I can't always spend the night at his house on weekends. (we rarely see each other during the week...but he only lives half an hour away, so he COULD come over but, he's too tired usually. He's goes to bed at 10:00pm during the week (?!)

Well, I guess I provide enough for both of us. It's frustrating sometimes. But, I'm a realist (mostly) so I try not to expect him to be something he's not.

Lioneye, I knew a Libra moon who was a little basic with the romantic details, he wanted me to pick out the gift and he would pay for it, My Gemini moon does the same thing sometimes and I pout because it's up to him to go get it. He knows the drill now, but I had to enforce the rules..I need those cards, it's in the rules, MY rules, you have to make your own. Men go by what they Have to do, they don't want to be exploited but if a woman sets out her own rules, he will follow if it's simple.

It's not always, I did this for you now do this for me, the message is often lost.

Yes I believed in the Easter Bunny too..I like to believe still, and want to have that good feeling, I don't want to have to go buy my own either..
I know how you feel, all you can do is hope to get what you give, there's nothing wrong in that. It's not fun to wait but sometimes you have to look at the man in your life and ask yourself:

Do you know where you're going to
Do you like the things life is showing you
Where are you going to?
Do you know?
Do you know what you're hoping for
When you look behind they're no open doors?
Now looking at all your past
We let so many dreams just slip through our hands, Why must we wait so long before we see
How sad the answers to those questions can be
Where are you going to
Do you know
Do you get what you're hoping for?

My life isn't perfect either that's why I buy poetry, draw, paint, travel with anyone at all, we spend time apart, I go to the ballet and talk to old men in the park, play with strange cats. It's a tough world for those who are hoping for more but I wouldn't want it any other way.

One day you will find a man who appreciates you the way you are and you will be satisfied. Leos cannot settle for less, it's about acceptance for who you already are, you are not asking for the moon here, or more than what you need.

Until then, keep your eyes open to possibilities, one day you will have peace of mind. In the end you may look at eachother and go You are the reason our Kids are Ugly, but if those cards are coming you will be okay with it.

Leos have this romantic challenge, I know this for my Leo friends whether they are married to Scorps or Geminis or Libras, they always need more romance. Be sure to get what you need.

You are like a volcano

Volcano-Volcano
Bubbling, rich, red.
Steaming
Spirit-Creation
Bursting, Bursting
For release and life

You must carry this feeling
hot and aching
within
until it's time
until the time has come

Leos are the sign after Cancer which is about pregnancy, the Leo gives birth and wants to create a life, a hope, the creative spirit is very strong and has to be guided and fed.

That's lovely, Natasha! I think alot of woman "need more romance". Like I said, I'm a realist about my expectations from other people. And I like to think I'm mature enough to not have niave images in my head of how things should work in a relationship. Honestly, I'm not typical of my sign in a lot of ways, because I'm one of the LEAST self centred people I know, and sometimes I wish I DID have the giant ego that Leos are known for. It might prevent me from being taken for granted so much. (oh, God... now I just sound like I'm whining)
Anyway, yeah. All I can hope for is to get SOME back of what I give. Lead by example. I'm hoping it'll catch on, but I'll only wait so long and then......it's out of my hands.

"You are the reason our kids are ugly" You slay me!
To tell you the truth, sometimes I think I'd rather be in a luke warm, part time, lack luster relationship than no relationship at all. I don't know why that is. I'd feel too lonely I guess.

awww, Lioneye86, not even a birthay wish from that Virgo ? bad, bad...you know...Virgos are extremely considerate lovers (I am a Virgo myself and I know another million Virgos around me), its very rare a Virgo to pass on a special day, specially something important to their pumpkins, without special treatment (coz they are so special ! ). Virgos will make any effort to please you, at any time, in any case, these creatures are like programmed to please. Maybe your Virgo simply forgot that it was your birthday? it happens to everyone, even I forget sometime my birthday... Did you tell him how much hurt you were? If you did - what was his excuse?
I completely understand you though, I also would expect "a thing" - a birthday card, a birthday morning kiss, a diamond ring WHATEVER! If you say you invest much efforts and emotions in this relationship but do not get sufficient amount of attention in return, are you sure he loves you? Of course noone could say that for sure but what is it that keeps you with him? Tell me the ways he SHOW you he loves you. TR Moon is in my 5th house tonight and I want to hear romance...give it to me, Lioneye

At the start the best is what you get, that keeps you going through the rest. We all want burning romance, but instead end up with "Honey, I'm constipated again". It can be funny, sad, happy, or bad but it's got to be a least sort of hopping at the start before it simmers down.

One Man
One Woman
One Bottle of Wine
Memories are made of this..
You need memories to keep you warm later
Memories of where you met, when you met,
your first kiss..when later you have no teeth...
Couples remember exactly the way they were when they first fell in love, that's memory..

Here is the You're the Reason our Kids are Ugly song, to cheer you up:>

You're the reason I am riding around on recap tires,
And you're the reason I am hanging out our clothes on wires
You're the reason our Kids are Ugly little darlin
Well money ain't everything, and looks aren't everything, but I love you just the same
Well you're the reason I changed to beer from soda pop
And you're the reason I never go to the beauty shop
I guess we won't have everything we need
Cause when we get together we always have another mouth to feed
And that's the reason my figure and looks are gone
And that's the reason I ain't got no hair to comb
And that's the reason our Kids are Ugly
Well Money ain't everything, and Looks arent' everything, but I love you just the same

Hey honey why don't you take those curlers out of your hair, and get out of the house once in a while, and put on a little make-up, and this kid..

There you go,
Does that cheer you up?
Seriously I have known Lots of Leos that are into self denial, a lot like Aries, the ego is not that big I have found Leos to be shy but very proud. Proud means quiet too.

Yes, you always cheer me up!! But I wasn't really down about it anymore though. I guess I was just venting. And I'm making a mental note of these little things. If the little things start to stock pile, I'll have to accept that my dream guy may have been made of Neptune's dust. Wouldn't be the first time, that's for sure. Typical of a Venus/Neptune square, which I've got.

Bissie...what does he do to show his affections for me? I guess he just mostly says sweet things to me. BUT not often enough for my liking, but that's just the needy Leo in me, which I've gotten pretty good at supressing thanks to my history with the Virgos. Nothing better for humbling the ego than a good dose of Virgo, right? He fixes things for me, like my car, and a chair that I bought at a garage sale that needed the seat to be glued together. So that's about it. He says loving things and he fixes stuff for me. Oh, and he almost never calls me by my name, unless we're having a rather serious conversation. Otherwise it's always "Sweetie" or "Baby", which I like. He has Venus and Mars in Cancer, both in the 12th house. What do you make of that, Bissie? Oh yeah, and he also has Saturn in the 8th house, which I'm beginning to really dislike. (j/k...sorta).

Saturn in the 8th, the tie me up and tie me down aspect!! yes I know that one well..It's not easy. I had one where he would call me pet names too isn't that funny? Angel baby, sweetie, sugar, honey, honey baby, he even changed my name. It was hello to a new identity. He would fix things too but as for saturn in the 8th I would say it's a little insecure, maybe he is afraid to commit in anyway because of a hurt in the past. Saturn in the 8th gets burned young and holds it in.

I read an entire thread the other day in another forum with people who had this aspect and they were all venting about their spouses, regarding things they do for them. I was tempted to add, "stop whining" that happened 10 years ago!

hhmm, Saturn in 8th house - guys (and women too) are extremely insecure and vulnerable about their sexual performance. They tend to think they are not good in bed unless you reassure them constantly and tell them thousand times they are sex gods. They fear bad sexual performance with such intensity, they even may withhold from sex for a long period of time. Saturn=fear(Like Saturn in 2nd house people who fear they will lose their money and will end up in a shalter). I`ve read somewhere that men with Saturn in 8th have secret desire for a dirty sex with their woman dressed like a prostitute or with attitude of a wh-ore, but that only behind the closed doors, outside they will put on a face of a role model with high morality. ;p
What synastry aspects do you have, LE68 ?

Whooo Hoo Bissie, you put your finger on it, it's the eyes like an angel, lips like a devil aspect. I think it's more like the 8th makes you want to lose yourself in your lover and the loss of control is scary and emotionally painful. This can lead to control issues and there is often a real lack of performance in bed, leading to psychological impotence. There is a fear of receiving because it's never good enough. It's better to receive from a Saturn in 8th because this is what makes that person feel secure and more powerful. You don't need to read up on that, I can tell you what you want to know. A strong mate can make the Saturn in 8th feel dominated and useless emotionally, the 8th needs to feel depended on, and has to be the giver, the one in control of giving.

It's the loss of identity the 8th feels that causes the insecurity, children, lovers, vacations, material posessions help. The 8th is very secure in material possessions and feels a constant lack of money, wealth, and material goods and seeks this out in his or her partner or is afraid of the other taking control of these aspects.

I was just reading a Saturn in the 8th post from a man who has been "had" by every woman in his life financially and is now on the rebound. Everything is distorted due to fear. Fear of sexual or financial exploitation runs his life. It's a deep insecurity than can creep into your life and leaving you feeling depressed.

Good Luck,
Lioneye

Here, you can see the whole thing. BTW, I'm just tickled that you're going to look at it! I can't wait to hear your assessment of it. I don't expect it to be all sunshine and roses either, just so you know.

Hmmm. It's not taking you to the chart. Ok, just select "synastry chart" for "some girl" and "some guy".

Saturn in the 8th, what it means to ME right now is having a lover who's appetite is nowhere near as healthy as mine, and he makes me feel like I'm a sex maniac if I want to fool around twice in the same weekend. Says "You're insatiable!" all the time. 'SCUSE ME?!?!?!?!? I hardly think so.

NW, as women we like that in a man, that way we can feel like the love goddess when we cure his impotence! Ironic isn't it? Don't worry, all the goodies have been doled out fairly, we just have to share more often.

Lion... You poor thing, only once a weekend?!?

AND... you don't see him during the week!?!

That's awful... or just plain WRONG...

For a Leo not to be able to love at-any-time for ALL-the-time is JUST WRONG!!!
Wow... you must have some dormant sexual tension to release girl!

That's how my Virgo bestfriends were too... nowhere but in the bed, at night, under the covers...

Their girlfriend's both complained about the monotony

Once he told me about how they moved to the hallway wall once... that was THE exciting sex position for him in like the last year when he mentioned it...

Yeah, I know. I may be needing therapy soon.

But thanks for appreciating how aggrevating it is.

Thing is, I've told him that it's pretty important to me, and that we should take advantage of any opportunity we get to be together, and he said, "well I just hate it when you have to leave right after". I think he's worried that I see him as just my 'boy toy'. Why he would think that is beyond me. Maybe he's been used and tossed away by women in the past. (?)
So, anyway, we seemed to hit a stalemate on the subject, and I don't see the point of bringing it up again. I don't like to have the same conversations over and over again. Pet peave of mine. You know how I feel about it. If you don't modify anything to accomodate it, you're telling me that you don't care how I feel about it. Ok, I can accept that, but it's being noted in the proverbial list of "little things". Know what I'm saying?

Do you have this aspect Lioneye? I am curious about Venus in the 12th because it is about love lost, it reminds me of a quote
Love gives us the wisdom to regain what's lost
Venus in the 12th can make for a sentimental nature, and a reluctance to let go of emotions, even taking on other people's emotions and problems. Sacrifice and rescue. Mars in the 12th means a sex and love drive that is powerful and driven by what feels like unknown forces.

As for men with fear of sexual exploitation, what do you think brought me into therapy? That's why I caution you. It's not advice just a caution.

No, I don't have that aspect, HE does. Along with the Saturn in the 8th house thingee. So maybe he needs the 8th house restraint to offset the Mars craziness. It balances it out somewhat...maybe. And my eighth house party might help to loosen his 8th house straight jacket...Hmmm. Or I could lose my mind trying. That wouldn't be much fun. Is that what you're talking about?

Well, I think you are attracted because of your Neptune in the 12th, a strong Neptune is attracted to a strong 8th house and Saturn in the 8th is very hard to ignore. I have Neptune in the 12th too and I attract Saturn in the 8th a lot. Luckily my current has a strong Neptune at the top of his chart conjunct several planets. I think that's important for you too because Neptune aspects are the ones that make you feel physically compatible. Neptune has a lot to do with feeling sexy.

There may not be enough between your Neptune's. His water energy is heavy and I don't know how many water aspects you have but the more water aspects he has the more attracted to Pisces and Neptune...I have a lot of planets in water houses like him, and I am always attracted to Pisces or Pisces placements or a strong Neptune, but still Saturn in the 8th does not work for me. Even with my Moon in the 8th, Saturn works a cross purposes. It makes it harder to get the things you need from that house, sex, monetary resources from others.

There is a real lack of trust in the opposite sex that usually comes with the 8th house, and the 8th house is in detriment there. The 8th is about sex and feeling sensual. For example Saturn in the 10th would mean a strained relationship with the father, not a better one. I have had several relationships with this aspect and it was never good after a while, we were better as friends.

What happened to the other Virgo? They are not all cold, I knew a sweet very sexy one with Venus in Scorpio and a Cancer Ascendant.

Psychological impotence occurs with women too, where your libido becomes so depressed that it takes time to come back. If you find yourself not caring anymore, or decide to put that part of yourself on the back burner, you are giving in to the pressure you are under. Eventually you will fight it but it will take time to be yourself again. There are always stages in a woman's life where this happens, childbirth, sickness, aging, but if you are not going through this, and no one has died, and you are not sick, there is not reason not to be free and enjoy your life. There will be lots of times when you cannot with the man you love because of sickness and other problems.

That's our libido it's not about love, it's simply there, and if we ignore it eventually it becomes less and less. That is also linked to our self confidence and can affect our daily life without knowing it. By the time you notice you are in denial that anything is wrong. What's hard about the 8th house Saturn is that the daily life is structured because changes are scary, still love has nothing to do with being yourself and being a confident woman, some lovers just need to much in that they wish to deny their bodies for greater pleasure. Saturn in the 8th likes to deny so that the feeling is greater each time, but it is a form of self punishment too which is addicting. The control is very hard to give up after a while and in the 8th it's the nature of Scorpio. Eventually that denial is transferred to the partner so that the sex is no longer even enjoyable.

Frequent breaks from each other help, but with a strong need for self confidence it's hard to work it out as lovers. What does your other Virgo's chart look like? I know he has a fire rising too, and fire risings can need mental stimulation as much as air risings, movies, new places..

Natasha, you're more insightful than you even know. It's scary You're right about his 8th house self-denying tendancies leading to my own 8th house self denial. It's contagious, but what choice do you have other than to look for sex elsewhere? If you do that, then you're essentially tossing the relationship out the window. Having said that, this is exactly why I've been reconsidering my relationship with the other Virgo. He was always "up" for it. He has Mars in Scorpio, as well as sun in the 8th. (not to mention a Leo moon and mercury in the 7th...) But the Mars in Scorpio caused us alot of grief as well, because it was squaring my own Mars, and my moon.
But sex was never a problem in that relationship. It's once we got out of bed that the problems arose. But sex isn't the only reason I've been reconsidering.
Did you click on the astro link I put up? The ex-Virgo is in there as well, he's "other guy", if you want to take a peek at his 8th house. He's a Cappy rising.

What became of your 8th house Saturn lover(s)?
