Hey fellow Knowflakes... Where does the New Moon tonight affect your chart? It's supposed to be a time of new beginnings, which I would say is definitely imporved by Mars going direct on Saturday. I wonder how the Libra sun and moon will be affected by such a sudden rush of long suppressed Masculine Mars-forced-into-Pisces energy (in the phyical and sexual sense )..??------------------ -K "Most people love with restraint As if they were someday to hate We hated gently, carefully As if we were someday to love"-Venus Trines at Midnight IP: Logged |

Wow, VAA, you just answered some questions I've been wondering about to myself lately. The Moon in Libra always puts me in an amorous (and sometimes nostalgic) mood. The moon will be in my 5th House. How will the new moon affect me? Positively, I hope. IP: Logged |

The New Moon in Libra will be in my 1st house and will make contact with Uranus. The Sun and Moon will oppose my Moon and Merc.I wonder if I should look to see the effect on houses 1, 7 and 4 (where Uranus, Moon, and Merc are located). I can't wait for Mars to go direct. It's conjuncting my mars and just bugging me. LOL IP: Logged |

The new moon will go through my 2nd and 3rd house...and with Mars going direct, maybe I will finally get some GOOD NEWS concerning my current project! (thinking positively here!)Whew, that Mars Rx, compounded with it being so close to Earth, was really powerful. OOoops, perhaps I shouldn't talk about it as if it's already over! IP: Logged |

I'm confused So, if I have my moon (which is in Libra) in my first house... does that mean that the moon will be energizing my 1st house? IP: Logged |

Yes, that exactly what it means, 1scorp. Transitting moon is passing through your 1st house and conjuncting whatever happens to be in it. IP: Logged |

Just a couple days or so. It's the fastest changing element, besides the rising sign.IP: Logged |

Usually it takes 2 days for the moon to travel through each sign. One way to kind of remember the moons position is this: The full moon is always in the opposite sign of the sun. The new moon is always in the same sign as the sun. So, tonight is the Libra moon and the Sun is in Libra (new moon). IP: Logged |

so if the moon seems to be moving away from the sun in the chart it is waxing and if it appears to be moving towards the sun it is waning.right?IP: Logged |

Ahhh -- New Moon in Libra in 11th House conjunct Neptune and Part of Fortune Tis true my friends are my saving grace. And they a lot like me, with their Neptune influence and me being Pisces. What a lovely time we have off in the "ozone." And we understand each other without saying a word. IP: Logged |

Lioneye, Do you mean the transiting moon or the moons phase towards the sun in the natal chart. I think it depends on your natal moon / sun signs. For me, as the transiting moon moves towards my natal sun, it is getting full. I have a Sun trine moon in my chart, or more specifically, it coincides with the Gibbous (3/4) moon. Full moon babies would have the opposite. As moon moves from their natal sun, it is in a waning stage. The moon is waxing as it moves towards to natal sun in a New Moon babies chart. IP: Logged |

NW, Do you mean you are feeling more energetic? I would be feeling more energetic if I didn't have this icky head cold / flu. I swear, there is nothing worse than having your head full of well, just ick! I am in pretty good spirits, but I am kind of like "Eh, who cares!!". LOL I mean, I had to sit through a lamo meeting with the Taurus Director of Science (formerly the CEO) and his puppet the new Pisces CEO. It was like a total dweeb fest. I just looked at them thinking "Hmmm, I wonder how far Mr. Taurus hand is shoved up Mr. Pisces behind to make him so animated". LOL IP: Logged |

I mean the transitting moon. (which could also be a snap shot of a birth chart at any given moment) As it moves away from the sun it's waxing, or getting bigger, as more sunlight is hitting it, until it reaches the point completely opposite the sun and it's 'earth' face is fully lit up by the sun, hense, all sun/moon opposition babies are born while the moon is full. This is significant, because it means something about honorable intentions and noble character. And the same holds true for the opposite, sun/moon conjunction babies are born when there is 'no moon', or a 'new moon', or a 'black moon', but in reality, the sun is shining on the side of the moon that faces AWAY from the earth. This is significant as well, as it means something about the unseen being illuminated.

Heehee, i had the flu recently, maybe its an evil digital/real life hybrid? My head felt like a balloon though.. and while ok its a cheap way of getting wasted I didnt really WANT to feel like that at the time, heh. Ahh.. office politics, the joy...
Try this next meeting for 10 points!!:

LOL...that a good one!! My ex suggested that the next time the crazy Bull goes after me that I should take out my Apache Tears stones from my deer skin pouch and lay them on the table, gaze upon them, smile and then put them back inside before answering his attack. He said that should scare the heck out of him. LOL...I make pouches for people with herbs, stones, etc.. much like my ancestors did for blessing a child, hunt, new dwelling. My brother gave me the one I have now about 10 years ago and I still add to it. I gave my nephew one shortly after his birth to bring him protection. Speaking of that, I need to brew some more willow bark - herb tea...it works, but I think this flu is not going to respond as well as that last one did. IP: Logged |
