Yeah -- it started out as high-energy for me, but I found that a lot of people got very aggressive.

And I've examined my circumstances and conscience, and don't believe it was purely projection.

But I still get all dopey-romantic looking up at the red light of a full Mars in the evenings, Rx or not, so I've got no intention of giving that pleasure up, until its time has passed.

Lunargirl, I agree, this was one aggressive go around. I had so many silly accidents/occurances on top of the furor around me.

I`m going to start working with Yerba Santa this week . That ought to help all that this Mars attack worked up within me

Have you worked with it on a personal level?

Hi Everyone
Yea...I'm so glad that Mars has finally stopped it's retro I've found people to be "difficult" and sometimes grumpy and irritable. I found the best way to deal with all that Martian energy was to hit the gym and start exercising so I was using the energy rather than have the energy come at me via other people - it seems to work Mind you...it's now heading back into my 7th house and will be there for the rest of this year.......so I may be permanently at the gym til next year

juniperb, I don't know very much about Yerba Santa, except what Google tells me!

Does it have many personal or spiritual effects apart from being good for bronchial problems?

Hey Cat, maybe Mars in the 7th means you should book a couple sessions with some cute personal trainer at the gym! <nudge, nudge>

Hey there Lunargirl, this Mars Retro has been awful, from everything from trying to just cut my bangs and ending up with an unknown hairstyle altogether, with pulling too much forward and ending up with spikes to everything falling apart around me.I am so glad today is the 27th.Not that my lucks that great as you already know.It was just nice to say hey again.I've missed our conversations. You understood the Aries Sun,Cancer Moon, intuition over logic better than most other Aries understood.Sometimes things can't be logically figured out, only intuited and sensed.Take care Lunargirl and Blessed Be,Celtic

Hi CS!! Nice to see you -- I was just looking at our old thread and wondering how you were, when here you are!

I'm OK -- dealing with some narsty nebulous 12th House Uranus in Pisces conjunct natal Saturn, trine Saturn in Cancer conjunct me CancerMoon in the 4th... you could say that I am cleaning out my psychic house.

<clenches jaw, rolls eyes, mutters "I will get through this>

Lunargirl, with Chiron in my 1st House, all those buried issues have painfully opened up and need healing.

Yerba Santa, I feel, will be instrumental in my releasing and healing.

I wasn`t aware it was used for the physical as well. It makes sense tho that it helps the lungs. Our constricted breathing, emotions et al

Yerba Santa: Positive qualities, Free flowing emotion, ability to harmonize breathing with feeling; capacity to express a full range of HUMAN emotion, especially pain and sadness.

Patterns of Imbalance: Constricted feelings, particularly in the chest; internalized grief and melancholy, deeply repressed emotions.

It is speaking to me

Alrighty... I have a Pisces mars retro question.

If a relationship became more serious during the retro period... now that it's not retro any longer... does it mean that the relationship will fizzle out?

If a relationship becomes strong during Mars retro, I'd say KUDO's to you! If you can trigger intensely positive responses in one another during this challenging transit, you're really swimming against the current to do so, and it'll only get easier when Mars 'smarten's up'.

At least, that's my theory.

I read that too Juniperb, but I think he meant if it is first initiated during the transit it will burn hot and fast, but will burn out during soon after the retro.

I can really feel a difference with Mars being out of the retro stage. The company I work for was founded during the sign of Pisces and with Mars in retro and Uranus conjuncting it, let me just say WOW!!!!!

Hmmm, that brought something else up I`ve been pondering. I had my 4 legged spayed during this retro. I scheduled it w/moon th Taurus to work w/her. I couldn`t avoid the retro or else she would have went into heat by then. Anyhow, she had unforseen complications for a very healthy girl. Would the retro have had an influence on her complications?

Hi Juniperb,

Did you just do it during this last moon in Taurus? That would have been around the 15th or so? That was far enough from the full moon (which causes more bleeding). The sun was in Virgo and the moon was in Taurus, which isn't the best for surgery, but having it during the waning moon is the best time (or at the new moon).

Now the farmers almanac states the best time to castrate animals was from September 2-11 and on the 30th, which they base on the moon sign itself.

What kind of complications did she have?

She`s a Gr Pyre and a big girl Extreme pain as she kept biting her sides, scratching them and hopping around like trying to escape it. She developed a horrible razor burn from the shaving. Bleeding & swelling ( prob. from her hopping around so much)which led to licking the wound. I ended up giving her the regular pain med Rymidyl (sp?) and 4 Benadryl 25 mgs each every 6-8 hours. This was a blessing and calmed her enough to rest and heal. She goes in today for check up & stitch removal. Wish her well.

Yeah, it is pretty normal for the area around the sutures to get red and irritated. She sounds like she also has very sensitive skin (so that is why the razor burn was so intense). Most of the suture sites will tend to ooze a bit, we used to recommend warm compresses and you can use neosporin.

Rimadyl is an anti-inflammatory that is also used to alleviate the pain involved with arthritis. Benadryl is great: total wonder drug and helps with calming and cuts down the irritation from the shaving.

I love Gr. Pyranese dogs. They are so beautiful. I have a major soft spot for huge dogs. My other favorite is the New Foundlands and Great Danes. But I also love goldens with a passion.

Hell, I love just about any creature with four legs. LOL

Hope your Pyranese is doing well juniperb.

Count me among the ranks of those who felt a nearly immediate difference when Mars ceased being Rx. Uncanny, isn't it? Though I woke this a.m. with some sinus-y stuff going on, which I think is just some residual stress working its way out.

Glad to hear so many of us are feeling a little brighter...

Awesome dogs Wevil

Altho I love all 4 leggeds too, I lean toward the big ones that can romp hard and take hiking with gusto. Chloe has a brother, a 110 lb Chesapeake Bay Ret.that has made this more difficult by wanting to play w/her.

The benadryl was a life saver and I pray her check up is positive.
