Hi, new here....hello.

What are the best resources to chart and interpret my natal chart progressing through life? I have maily studied what makes people tick through astrology but have been baffled on how to do predictions. Thanks for your input!!

www.astro.com gives various options re charts. You need to select Progressed Chart option.

Well, I know next to nothing (really, really next to nothing - like sitting on nothing's lap) about transits and progressions, but I did notice that Bob Marks has a bit on the more outer-y planets and their transits:
