i was wondering if anyone could explain cusps to me, i've tried to find out things about it, but it either says they dont and cant exist while others say they definately do. i think i'm a pisces/aries cusp...and from the little i've read about it, it totally rings true, unlike all the times when i've read the aries horoscope, which seems a tad harsh for me....

Cusps depend on how you look at it. One can divide each sign into 10 degree segments, called a decante. Each one symbolizes an aspect of the sign modified by other planetary influences. Such as:

1st Decante: Pisces/Pisces=Neptune/Neptune
2nd Decante: Pisces/Cancer=Neptune/Moon
3rd Decante: Pisces/Scorpio=Neptune/Pluto

One can also look up Sabian symbols. There is a small booklet available, though I do not recollect what its title is. Each sign is divided into 30 degrees, 0-29. The degree is given a meaning, such as 29 degrees Cancer. A lot of books that go into cusp meanings have derivations from Sabian symbols and lump them together to make it easier for the novice reader.
