Hi,

I'm worried about a friend. He is a Leo Sun/Scorp Moon /Leo Asc. with Merc/Venus/Saturn stellium in Cancer and 12th. Now transiting Saturn is hitting it.

He is gifted, intellgent and creative. Über-sensitive with macho appearance. The highs are up there above the highest mountains and the lows are ... well, you got the picture.

There is a reason to believe he has attempted suicide recently. And he is not far from trying again.

I wish I could do something. Actually I'm pretty sure I'll be one of those who'll end up being one of his last life-lines and I feel really helpless.

Any word of advice?

Just be there for him when he needs you. Help him to understand that suicide is a permenant answer to a temparary problem.

Help him to realize that he is just feeling the transits in his life, and as all things, they too will change for the better.

If he would benefit from it, I'd be happy to do a transit reading for him.

What a fabulous, pointed truth. If you die, how will you know how things turn out?
Good advice.

Thank you for your kind words!

Illog,
That is a most kind offer. Unfortunately I don't feel comfortable posting his DOB without his concent. Should have thought of it before.

You are correct of course. I meant for you to ask him if he wanted a reading.

Hi,
For the past few weeks I've hit a really low low - nothing like your friend's low - but it still feels awful. I have my Sun, Venus and Mercury, North Node in Cancer - most in 12th house so Saturn is hitting me and especially my venus on and off this upcoming year. I almost forgot about this until I read your post.Lanny did a reading for me which was helpful, so I know Saturn and my current bad attitude is to blame.

It's important to be there for your friend and maybe do some activities together that he usually finds enjoyable. I plan on taking a long walk in the woods this weekend and being amongst nature - (either that or getting a prescription for something if this mood keeps up)Perhaps he'd enjoy something like this??

I hope your friend is getting professional help. Attempted suicide or contemplated suicide needs attention from someone who is trained. If your not certain that he has attempted suicide or not aware of the extent of his depression, tackfully and compassionately try to get this info from him. It may be awkward, but it would be awful if he kills himself and no one ever got him help.
Take Care
You've had great advice from the other responses
