Hey there fellow darlings!Does anyone know what the affect a Void of course Moon has on a wedding? I heard of two lovely people getting married today but before 3 PM the Moon was VOC so my lip went downwards a bit . I am not sure when they got married so I hope after 3 but I don't think so. Thought maybe this is not a promising thing?! Just wondering....always ~~wondering~~ Cheers IP: Logged |

I've read of several meanings. I'll share the one I use. When the transiting moon makes no aspects to any other planet before moving onto the next sign. Sylven has not posted the time and place of the wedding, so we do not know for sure if the moon was void of course. On a computer generated chart, it would read VOC. IP: Logged |

Hi all Maybe this will help, maybe it won't. It's from one of my fave books, "Secrets from a Stargazer's Notebooks." The author is first quoting Al H. Morrison: "Every couple of days comes a time which is best used for subjective, spiritual non-material concerns, like prayer, yoga, play, meditation...It begins when the Moon in transit makes the last major aspect it will make before it changes from one sign to the next. It ends when the Moon enters the next sign. This is called Void-of-course-Moon. You may call it silly season, or vacation from normal living. Decision making in such periods turns out later unrealistic. Creativity diverges into unplanned directions, improvisations, false starts, errors. Business moves fail to generate profits or meet unexpected difficulties. If you buy any object it usually fais of its intended use. Human judgement is more fallible..." Personally, I always carry a little astrological calendar in my purse so I know when the VOCM is! Oh, and here is something else interesting! I knew Al would lose his run for President, when he made his Democratic acceptance speech on a VOCM: "In every major Presidential election from 1900 through 1972 one of the two major party candidates was nominated with the VOCM. Every one of the dandidates nominated with the VOCM lost. Jimmy Carter's 1980 nomination came with a VOCM." The author goes on to say that things just aren't 'normal' during the VOCM, and people born during the VOCM, well, they aren't normal, either. They're special. Hope this helps a bit. IP: Logged |

Well, just imagine how fun it is to be BORN and have a VOC moon!! Mine is at Aries 29 degrees and 28 minutes. Tho, i HAVE had plenty of time to study everything i want to and more -- ya, plenty spiritual time. Andi can also say that way too many things hardly ever turned out the way i expected!!IP: Logged | |
