You`ve ever received and from which sign?
Pid got me to thinking about it and some gifts of mine came to mind

My ex-Taurus bought me a new broom and dust pan for Christmas. Seems he felt I needed the xtra helping hand with the housework.

The next year he bought me footed p.j.`s, said my cold feet was disturbing his sleep.

Next? a new set of frying pans, seems he felt the yolk of his eggs would cook to a better constancy in them.

Before he caught on, a nice new electric mixer because he decided he prefered homemade whip cream

The best gift of all was the two beautiful children he blessed me with

LOL...that is too funny.

Okay, one year my dad thought he would be creative and bought me a hand held electric embroidery thingy. LOL...I couldn't even sew a button let alone use that thing.

One year my Saggie brother sent me a "Psychic Friends Gift Box". I am going to send it to him for his birthday on the 20th and with a note that says "Did you see this coming back...it's called Karma LOL"

My Virgo ex always picked out really pretty things for me, but one year he bought me a coffee maker that ground the coffee beans and made the coffee, the thing was it became a real pain in the rear to clean. LOL

Not a Christmas present, just a present . . .

A single beeswax candle and a Picasso stone.

I was to make a wish with the candle, and wasn't told what the stone was for.

Hahaha, loads, but the first one that comes to mind was a bottle of cover up in high school from two Leo buddies. They bought it for me because my face gets very red, very easily-I get embarrassed and blush at the drop of a hat.

Another one...but it was for my b-day was from my good Taurus friend-a charicature (sp?) of t.v. personality that I loved. She gave it to me for my 19th b-day and I still have it.

Sometimes I got sex toys from my Virgo ex (Venus in Libra Mars in Scorpio). Then as soon as I opened them he wanted to use them on me.

I guess that's not so much "odd" as it is kinky. Ah, he was so fun sometimes.

How about adding the sweetest gifts onto the list too?

A small Austrian chocolate cake tucked inside a wooden box.

A Capricorn drew two amazing pictures for me-one of my name-and wrapped them around a bunch of beautiful tulips. He also gave me a lovely musical jewelry box.

I was home sick once and my Gemini ex who worked at a restaurant had the delivery guy bring me coffee (since I'd complained about not being able to make any) and a bag of halls with a cute note. Fair trade, since I once brought him a can of Cambell's chicken noodle soup with a bow on it when he was sick.

Aphrodite, what was the person's sign who gave you that?

Juniperb..a broomstick

Lioneye, once you get used to that, it's hard to go back, so it's no wonder your current flame doesn't seem to be able to arouse you, possibly it's because your ex is still in your head? It happens to me too where an ex spark my imagination. It never goes away, you have to go with it.

The oddest gift I received was a tooth whitening kit from a Libra. Another time he bought me sneakers, and another time he bought me a pasta maker, and sausage maker. He was big on cooking appliances.
I bought him a diamond earring but he lost it, and he didn't like any gifts from me instead he would accept gift certificates at sharper image.

A Cancer who was an antique dealer gave me stranger gifts
A ceramic pink and green egg with stalks and bells from the fifties.
Pictures made up of book illustrations
Bottles of rare colour wood stain and goo be gone
W-D 40
Forks new ones
Antique French Postcards with sexy messages on them in French (those are my favorites)
I want to frame those, they are all from the 40's and were written during wartime from a woman in Indiana to her GI lover in Germany. She is begging him to stay faithful. Each card has a little girl and boy on the front kissing or playing and they are French. He must have mailed them to her and she mailed them back. Eventually he stopped writing her and she breaks up with him in the end. The man who was written to had died and his family sold the cards at an auction.

Now they are mine. She gets sparky too, the writer I mean.

The other gifts the Cancer gave me, I gave away but I kept the cards.
The best gifts to me are handmade, no doubt about it. Or maybe nuts and cheese.

Sthenri, your Cancer gifts would delight me

Believe it or not, my Cancer has gifted me with a w-d 40 kit. It`s saved me many times from stuck barn doors to getting my arm out of a hole in the fence (don`t ask ) .

I just Cancers.

The postcards sound so romantic and beautiful

Bahh! I thought the WD-40 was for the broomstick...

As for Virgo and kinky toys, I know a Virgo with Moon in Gemini who was about as kinky as it gets. But he lived it like it was totally normal. Oh, forgot to mention. He's also a self-proclaimed communist. He had a very repressed childhood.

Strangest gift I got was a one-year subscription to Penthouse.

Actually, not so strange...

My ex Virgo had his moon in Gemini and came from a repressed childhood with completely puritanical parents. He was never kinky

But, he was still sweet

Juniperb, yes don't you just love Cancers? They are pretty amazing , they care so much what people think and feel especially when they are younger and as they get older they get better and better and more assertive in funny ways.

I am always meeting Cancers around town, especially at coffee houses and plays. They are very perceptive, and do love gifts. Especially anything that is right from the heart.

As for moon in Gemini, they are unconventional that's for sure, they go the other route and tend to see things in black and white when it comes to their childhood. They either want it back or turn their back on it. As for kinky, I don't know, I know a lot of Gemini moons and I would say they have an open mind about anything and everything but are more talk than action.

A Libra with a Gemini moon gave me a painting of a half nude woman for my birthday which I thought was odd. It was tasteful and expensive but it was for him, not me. It was his way of saying, move in with me and put this over my bed. Gemini moons like to give strange gifts.

my grandmother would give the same cheap plastic wallet every year to someone different in the family. the person who received it usually groaned in dismay as he or she felt targeted by being chosen as the recipient that year, having anticipated a nice proper gift.

one year my father received the wallet, groaned his discontent, and immediately tossed it aside. a little while later my grandmother picked it up and asked him if he was sure he didn't want it. when he made it clear that he didn't, she said 'too bad', opened the wallet, and pulled out $500.00.

the whole family was utterly stunned, as you might imagine.

Sthenri, Cancers are very perceptive. Mine has built in radar

He has a Aries moon and an Aries Ascendant with his Venus in Cancer. He never gives me a dull moment
