As an Eagle, I've only met one Sag who dared incur my wrath. By the time I found out, he was gone and that was the last I heard from him in 10 years. A mutual friend, a beautiful Virgo, informed me recently that he is STILL afraid of what I might do. I have lived the last 10 years quite well, so if I were to interpret this situation as win/lose, I think this particular cowardly archer has beat hmself better than I could!

the replies are funny! but perian...the first rule of being an eagle is not telling that you are one. my sign as per indian astro is scorpio and i know this for sure. remember, even the eagle is not an extrovert. as for that sag, haha, he is afraid out of nervousness. trust me, sagittarian amygdala just doesnot accept fear. the only thing it fears is fear itself. darn he incured your wrath. that's bad.

with consecutive signs the battle is 'just not there'. it simply is that 'the latter replaces the former'. wheer scorpio stops sag. starts. where sag stops and fails the goat starts. and so on. so the match goes unfair among scorpio and sag just as it goes unfair with aries and taurus. both have their own arena. one is about going to the depths and other about living in the big picture. winner is the one whos arena the fight goes. ever heard a sag studying DNA!

so what about sag with other signs? i want serious answers.

Archie, what do you want to know exactlty? How to overpower a certain sign? You'll never get that information here. We have to wonder why you want that. Are you evil or something?

By the way, you're not a very good ambassader for Saggie. You're so spitefull.

Yeah... he's got someone specific in mind that he wants to meet after school behind the recreation building.

As for Sag with other signs, I've dated a lot of Sag's, I'm a Libra. But I haven't met one that I feel totally secure with. They are a lot of fun in "certain ways".

I've gotten into really deep philosophical discussions with them, which last forever, until the sun comes up. They are super dreamers, with the spirit of a child.

It's cool that they are so gregarious and I like hanging around that energy. But for some reason, I can't handle it when that same energy which is so special to me, is focusing on other women. It's weird because with other signs, I don't feel that way.

Like with Aquarius, I don't feel that way at all, even if he wants to do her. I could probably feel the same way with another Libra. Hmmm...

Archer... Life sucks because you are negative.
The questions you ask are negative, your responses to people simply cut them down...
It seems all you want to do is bash certain signs based on your <small, in context of an entire sign> experiences. You ask questions like.. WHo would win in this fight?
Who has more power?
If you look at the majority of the posts here, you will see that you are virtually alone in your quest for negativity. So if people respond to you like that, maybe you can take that Sag humanitarian intuition that you MUST possess somewhere underneath that jaded mean front of yours, and intuit that maybe we are beyond the questions/statements you make. Some of us genuinely want to help, but really.....
Think of the image you are presenting. You seem wounded and defensive. Whenever someone responds, you attack them. If that is all you are here for, I'm sure you can find a better suited atmosphere for yourself. On the other hand, if you are genuinely interested in astrological discussion that doesn't involve overpowering certain individuals, well, you are welcome.
You get what you put out.

Truthfully, a Virgo would win in an argument with a Sagittarius.

As a Sag myself, I shall say that my sister is a Virgo and she definately wears the sassy pants in the family. My other sister is a Gemini and she is very passive. My mother is a Capricorn and I don't wrestle with her often, because she likes to throw little imaginary daggars in the form of cutting words at you when you aren't looking. My first husband is a Pisces. Need I say more? Water versus fire. You figure it out. My husband now is a Leo. He is the gentle lion with a valiant roar. We can really go at it though, fire versus fire...it's an interesting mix but because of his gentleness, we generally both back down and admit love and get back to caring for our den of cubs...

I had a love interest at one time who is an Aquarius. Heaven help me. He was the most confusing man I've ever been involved with. Never was straight forward and would walk away rather than argue. Because he believed he was right all the time and it was a waste of his time to disagree with me because he was right anyways.

I have a best friend that is a Libra and he is wonderfully capable of arguing in a fair way. We don't actually argue though, but I've seen him do so with other people and he is so confident in his convictions that it's hard for people to go against him. And actually, most of the time he really is the one that is right.

So in closing....we are lovers not fighters...we do live in dream worlds and have child like spirits, for in childhood is when we felt the most free to roam around with no worries over anything except who was going to play with us next. We are eager for affection and eager for happiness especially the happiness that we give to others. For when people around us are happy, then WE can be happy. Since we do have a tendency to carry the weight of others upon our sturdy shoulders.

If you are not like this, then you should consider being like this. It's much more fun to laugh than to dominate.

Personally, I do not live my life completely by consulting books, authors or any other means of telling me what is best for me. I live my life the way I see fit. What works for me well is all that I am concerned with. I'm not dispelling anything that Linda says, but I also do not rely 100% on what others say or think. If I did that, then what would the purpose of my own brain and heart be?

But, I would think Leo/Sag is a GOOD combination! Don't you?

Well Pixelpixie...I've been married to my Lion for over 10 years now and sure, we've had our up's and down's just like the next person...but his gentle side rules over his roaring self and that is what is so attractive to me I think...he isn't afraid of anything, and that includes admitting he's wrong, if he really is wrong, and apologizing for it..and most of all meaning it. For my Leo is proud of his den aka family and he would fight to the end for us...actually, he has done that many times, he has fought fiercely to keep us all together and to keep us happy.

A happy lion is a TAME lion. So, the key to anyone wanting a Leo is MAKE THEM HAPPY! Course, that is the key to making me, the Archer tame...and all the rest of the signs...just be happy and watch it spill over to your counterparts...

I did try to make my Aquarius happy, and I "think" I did...but he was so contrary, that he never would tell me so. I told him once that he reminded me of the Charlie Brown Christmas special, of which Linus tells Charlie this "Of all the Charlie Browns in the world, you're the Charlie Brownest!"...that describes my Aquarius to a T. But I loved that Aquarius. I loved his wit and his sarcasm, as long as that sarcasm wasn't aimed towards me in a nonplayful way. And his heart was so huge, he wanted to fix all the problems in the world... I still care about him, but he kept so much to himself, that it was hard to continue the relationship since I rely heavily on wide open lines of communication and (unfortunately) praise to boost my low self esteem. And I guess, for him, not Aquarius in general, but in his case, those were things he just couldn't handle. In our 3 year relationship he only told me I was beautiful once. Broke my heart he did...

but oh well...I've got the leader of the pack now...and all's well in my territory!

LOL.....okay, it has been over 10 days since I have posted...been on vacation, and I had to laugh out loud on Archer insight to Sag and Leo.

Wasteful? Okay, whatever. Every combination has good and bad points. I love my Leo and we are happy together. But our relationship is not for everyone since we love to banter and spar verbally as much as possible. Some would find that too much to take and other sensitive types would crumble.

My ex hubby (my divorce was final...finally, on December 22nd or 29th depending on whose signature makes it valid) is a Virgo with a Gemini moon. He is super intelligent and super sensitive, but he could kick my butt in a verbal challenge ANY day!!! I did stump him more than a few times, but he was like a walking encyclopedia. It is one of his many gifts.

I think we can look to many signs that broke our hearts. God, I would hate to see what some of my exes would say about me. Then again, I have talked to a couple who stated that they just didn't think I took the relationship seriously.

Archer, why do you want to know? Are you planning on kicking some astro butt?

I think Sags' gregarious nature puts some people on edge, and when they do speak the brutal truth, they sometimes end up in an argument or an all out brawl. Even though I do know some introverted Sagitarians, most are the typical, super-confident type. I love Sag people. I am an Aquarian, and both of my parents are Sags.

In response to the topic of this thread, even though all of us receive certain attributes from our natal chart, it does not mean that all people share the same strengths just because they have the same sign. There are examples of both strong and weak minded people in all 12 signs. It's an individual thing.

Rest assured, the Creator did not create one sign totally dominant over another. Nor did he create a sign more inferior than any other. I think it has to do with individual Karma.
