Sag vs. Aries? Aries would win. Ultimately (despite Sag's delusions of superiority). If only because we can't bear to lose! How to beat a Sag: sharpen your wits and floor them with a verbosity that not even THEY can match (I have Mars in Gemini and a Virgo Ascendant, so it's easy for me). Hit them with the unexpected and watch them look completely nonplussed (they're not always very good at thinking on their feet!) Then, tell them you don't ever want to see them again! Then, walk away!(This is NOT backing down. This is Aries' not wanting to spend any more time/energy on an unfruitful relationship!) Drastic, I know, but the only method of getting rid of especially annoying Sags! IP: Logged |

Haa haa haa - you should be a comedian!!Mars in Gemini does not a verbal tongue make. Yeah, the Virgo ascendant is great....join the club. Try a Sag with an Aries Moon, Mercury in Capricorn (adds to the bite) and Mars in Pisces...I fight by getting inside of your head....and leaving the battle with a smile. Oh yeah, and I also have a Virgo Ascendent...conjuncting my Pluto in Virgo..did I mention I have a sharp tongue Welcome to LindaLand by the way..nice you have you

Welcome! My son (nine!) is a Sagittarius, and both his dad and step-dad are Aries. (I should mention he has Aries rising, while my husband has Sag. rising!)Your theory is probably correct, but the part of it that is incorrect- being the impartial third party, I hear what the sparring partner does not! When Aries walks away, they grumble to themselves, or anyone who will listen about what a ***** that Sag is, so they do take up more time and energy! What better way to dissipate Mars' energy, than with a duel of the tongue?! ( In this case, words.....) But far from forgetting, they are up to another spar as soon as one fire has forgiven the other. Sag is mutable remember? They only let you believe you have won. When walking away, smug and grumbling, trying to retain a cool exterior, Sag is staring after you, internally shaking his head at what a blow-hard you are, and silently wondering how he can better himself for the next fight. He learns, hopefully from things, he aims his arrows at better, higher targets. Aries must learn not to ram into immoveable objects. I think, in combination, that team is unbeatable. Just stop fighting each other, and start fighting the bad shite in the world. So, Aries tiger.... does that mean you were an aries born in the year of the tiger?

Hi Pixie...me thinks Ariestiger is a She...unless He has a water moon and speaks of female problems. (Check out the fire sun water moon thread.)I like your observation. It makes total sense. IP: Logged |

Hey Pidaua, I quote: "Mars in Gemini does not a verbal tongue make"??? Interesting. I think it does, actually. I'm an author/teacher - okay, maybe this IS connected more to my Ascendant. However, if I had no appreciation of and facility with words, I would probably not be following the type of vocation that I am. And yes, I am a woman!IP: Logged |

Pid~ I saw that thread, heard talk of progesterone cream and came here to edit immediately!!! But really, you have to admit, starting a thread with 'Them's fighten' words' is either a man or, well, an Aries. So there you have it. You have a Pisces moon? It will be interesting to see that in your future posts.IP: Logged |

Laugh if you like - progesterone cream is good stuff! (I WAS only trying to be helpful & spread the good word about this "miracle in a jar" . Truly, it transformed my life, and if it can help other people, then so much the better!) Don't even bother with that tired old chestnut of an argument that you "thought I was a dude"! Won't wash.

Hey AriesTiger, I wasn't putting you down at all. I was laughing at my own assumptions. By the way, we were hoping for a guy because we have so few here. It's like living on Wonder Womans island..all amazons no dudes. LOL As far as the cream, pixie and I never made fun of it nor discounted it at all. It was just how we figured out that you're a lady. Don't get bent out of shape please. We're all friends here. IP: Logged |

Well, this certainly started on an aggressive note! This was the first thread I saw, introducing you, Aries Tiger. I made a comment, asking if you were a man or a woman, because you "came in fighting" so to speak. Then I edited when I saw your comment on the other thread, stating that you were indeed a woman. So I edited, so as not to embarass myself. She saw my post pre-edit. Progesterone cream is great, and no one is denying it has helped many women. Yay for yams!!! And for technology!! I know exactly what you mean, Pidaua... I'm flirty too... it's a natural thing... Enter the room, swishy and *on*, it just flows around you like an aura. Hard to turn off. IP: Logged |

Thank you, you are a fabulous Scorpio yourself!I find the Sagittarians I know in person . . . weird Like ordering a peanut butter and jelly on white bread from a gourmet deli . . . Or listening to Polka music and playing online casino games on a slow day at work . . . Or cooking ground beef, pasta, beans, canned soup and frozen vegetables into a thick gruel . . . Or learning naughty words in foreign languages to tell their dates . . . Help me out here. IP: Logged |

hee hee, you mean...not weird. Okay, well, I read your list..checked it twice and it does sound like me, but I would not order Peanutbutter and jelly at a gourmet deli. I will, however, eat it for dinner....or cereal for that matter. Slow work days...I play music even on busy days and usually have 4-5 websites open along with what I am working on, because my head would fall off if I didn't have a few things going on at the same time. Gruel...otherwise known as stew...a Saggie favorite. I read this book when I was little called Button soup. Ever since then I make it a habit to throw a bunch of stuff together to make a thick stew (or gruel).I DO take canned soup and spice it up with additional veges, meat and other things LOL... Yeah, Saggies are weird. We just come up with the goofiest things and get into the goofiest moods. People at work will just bust out laughing at me and say "where do you come up with these things" hee hee IP: Logged |

It's okay. Makes Sagittarians a harmless kind of interesting."White Mochas" must be a Saggy drink. Fascinating My Saggy roommate likes to pull those orange and red plastic rings from milk cartons and give them to my cat to play with. She also likes to slather aloe vera in big glops on his fur to lick off. I don't bother to question. I just go with it, and pretend it's perfectly normal. IP: Logged |

LOL...My cats LOVE the tops to water bottles and soda bottles. You know the little round tops on the 2 liter bottles. They bat them around like hockey pucks. The aloe vera gel helps with hair balls. It sticks to the fur well, like vaseline so that the cat has to lick it off. Butter is good too, but doesn't stick as well so the cat can fling it off. Hmmmm, white mocha...never had it. I must try it though IP: Logged |
