I'm sure most of you know how Linda Goodman used Alice and Wonderland and Peter Pan,and I apologise if there already was a thread on this. I was just wondering if anyone else had insight as to what other popular Disney (or other movie) characters were.

Peter Pan (as in Linda Goodman's Love Signs):
Peter- Gemini
Wendy- Cancer w/ Aquarius moon

Reason being, I caught up with a few Disneys this weekend with a friend who also is very into astrology. I figured why not ask others! We came up with a couple guesses:

The Little Mermaid:

Ariel: Aries- Not just the name and red hair (wierd though), but the need for independence and child-like naivety

Triton: Pisces, perhaps, for the Water King? With a Virgo Moon, for the grounded maturity/disciplinary tactics

Sebastion: Seemed cliche to be a cancer, but I think he was- he was maternal and let his emotions crack occasionally

Flounder- Pisces? Scared lil' guy??

Pocahontas was a little harder to read, so was Prince Eric. But if anyone had any other insight on these or other characters, please share!

I'd say Belle has to be an Aquarian, most likely with a Cancer Moon and Virgo Rising....and Gaston is definitely an extremely unevolved Leo.

LOL!!

A friend of mine just read The DaVinci Code and it said how Disney puts a lot of symbolism in its characters/plot, and it gave the Little Mermaid as an example. Hmm... I just finished Hercules, but I haven't collected my thoughts on that just yet. Tuesday is the Mickey Mouse thing fact or insight??

FireMeetsWater,

could you please say a bit more (on short, of course) on the symbolism of the Little Mermaid? Pretty please...

It's my favourite one

It's a fact. His 75th birthday was celebrated last year. I don't remember if it was November 18th or 19th.

Donald Duck has to be a Sagittarius...Linda even says so in Sun Signs. In the back she lists the signs and celebrities, characters and places that fall under each sign.

I share the same birthday as Donald Duck. He's a June 9 Gemini!

Fitting as birds, (usually small colorful birds!), are ruled by Gemini.

How strange ! Ariel is my favourite disney character ! Mainly because of her hair, predictable ! For Prince Eric the best I can think of is Scorpio. Mainly cause I didn't think he fitted any other sign !

I found this tidbit on Donald Duck:

Q: When is Donald Duck's birthday? When did he debut?

A: Donald Duck's birthday is officially recognized as June 9, 1934, the day he debuted in the Silly Symphony cartoon "The Wise Little Hen."

Donald's fiery temper immediately endeared him to audiences, and in the 1940s he surpassed Mickey Mouse in the number of cartoons reaching the theaters. Eventually there were 128 Donald Duck cartoons, but he also appeared in a number of others with Mickey Mouse, Goofy, and Pluto. A daily Donald Duck newspaper comic strip began on February 7, 1938.

You can find lots more information about Donald Duck and all of your favorite Disney characters in our online Disney Archives.

His true birthday would not be the day of his debut, but the day he was created by Walt (also a Sagittarius)

I really like this topic so I'm bringing it back up to the top. "Mary Poppins" has always had a special place in my heart, so I will list my interpretation of some of its characters.

Mr. Banks -- I waver between Taurus and Capricorn for this character, but I think I choose Taurus.

Mrs. Banks -- Libra ("Votes for Women")

Jane -- Pisces ("Is that a witch?" "Of course not, Michael. Witches have brooms.")

Michael -- Scorpio ("extremely stubborn and suspicious")

Bert -- Sagittarius (jack of all trades)

Mary Poppins -- I'm guessing she's a double Virgo with a Pisces moon. She is magical no doubt, but of a practical bent.

Thanks for listening!

Hey guys, I like this topic...but I think the character's birthday wouldn't dictate his personality ....it would rather depend on what the creator wanted his character to be, for example, Mickey mouse is far from being a scorpio.
And what about characters born on the same day having different personalities?
Like the powerpuff girls...Blossom is surely an Aries & Buttercup must be a Scorpio, although I wonder how she lets Blossom be the leader.Bubbles may be a cute libran or a piscean. What do u think guys??

divina- I couldn't agree with you more with the mary poppins!!! i quizzed my friend and she came up with almost exactly what you did. I feel motivated to watch more Disneys.

Cristiname- sorry it took so long! there wasn't more to that movie other than something along the lines of, "symbolism in the red hair" and something about the painting that was in her hidden treasures having a greater meaning towards the sacred feminine.
