From our astrology course here at LL:Jupiter and Capricorn's two energies don’t mix too well causing the individual to be concerned with the letter of the law or teaching, and miss the spirit behind it. These individuals can have strong integrity in their moral outlook. They tend to be rather conservative, wanting to cling to traditional values. They tend to support the status quo, believing sincerely that the guidelines expressed therein are the best roadmap for success. They often hold offices of power in organizations that value adherence to a clear guideline of conduct. They have a strong desire for positions of power in order to support the system and protect it from changes. They tend not to be very outgoing, holding a great deal of feelings, particularly feelings of frustration, inside themselves. Unless they learn to release such feelings, they will be subject to health problems. Come join us in the class if you haven't already. Lanny IP: Logged |

Yes... And I'll add to that... I have Jupiter AND Saturn in Capricorn!! The keyword here is MELANCHOLY... My opposing (and moody) Moon in Cancer hasn't helped. PLUS I have these in an opposing T-Square!!!!!! Talk about challenges. The thing is, we don't want power for power's sake, and we are not moralists per say. We just have a TREMENDOUS interest in the LONG-TERM results of actions. So when someone like me has had to fully experience each option (Libra Sun to boot), and has fallen on her face several times, the proven and fair "tried and true" becomes a very real map. It can also be helpful to others, if only we can figure out how to make those "connections" with people. .gloria ------------------ it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness... I have Jupiter in Capricorn too.....but could never really distinguish IT'S energies from those that I get from the Sun and Mercury which are also in Capricorn. I have a son with both Jupiter and Saturn in Capricorn, and I'd say yes, melancholy would be the right word... *sigh* Luv, Rainbow IP: Logged |
