Hello all!

I have a "new" neptune transit. It has moved into my 11th house(aquarius on the cusp).

It will conj. saturn a some point in pisces and opp. my moon, uranus and pluto in virgo at about the same time.

Any insights as to what to expect considering this is going to torture me for sometime?

Thanks, Cindi

Cindi, here are some ideas:

Neptune 11th House - Ideals will be very important to you during this transit. You will work hard to actualize them in your life. You will choose friends that share your feelings. You need to be careful with your friends however, make sure that you are relating to them based on who they are, not on who you want them to be. Don’t allow friends to take advantage of your idealism. That is not to say that all your friends will behave in such a way, only that you will not tend to deal with them on a real level. Some of your friends will indeed believe like you, and together you will be able to make a difference.

Transiting Neptune Conjunct Saturn - this can be a difficult Neptune aspect, due to the confusion and depression that it brings with it. Your worldview will be challenged by events that bring doubt to what has been a fairly solid belief for you. You may be feeling fear from an unknown source that you can’t put a face on. Saturn denotes a solid reality structure, while Neptune brings possibilities of several realities. As you begin to see the possibilities, your belief in one solid reality begins to diminish, and you are left without the safety of understanding your world without question. Truth becomes relative, and this shakes your faith in what you have believed all your life. Robert Hand refers to this time as the “dark night of the Soul”. The good part is that this is the prelude to a growth in our ability to coexist in more than one reality.

Neptune Oppose Moon - this aspect produces strange mood swings that can be disruptive if taken to seriously. Your perceptions are not all that accurate right during this period; you tend to see what you want to see, instead of reality. This aspect indicates a kind of fatigue with the world, a desire to escape from it through various means. Your task under this aspect is to force yourself to deal with the real world, not escape from it into a fantasy one. Your feelings are not as dependable now, so go slow when acting on them. Don’t accept anyone’s truth as your truth, just because they say it or believe it themselves. Be particularly careful in your more intimate relationships. Your partner may not be what he or she seems.

Neptune Oppose Uranus - this aspect represents a tremendous revolution in your consciousness, and an awareness of aspects of your life that you have been unaware of up till now. During this period you will be open to understanding more about the nature of life, and your part in the overall scheme, than you have ever thought possible. You will undergo many changes in your perspective or new insights.

This is a time of tremendous psychological insight and change, and unfortunately not much stability. The best response to this aspect is to stay flexible, don’t try to build permanent structures in your life, because they will change on you. At this time you will not be able to see the relationship between your new consciousness and your old understanding of reality. As this aspect completes its impact, only then will you be able to realize how much you have grown, and what you must do to incorporate your new insights into your life.

Neptune Oppose Pluto - this aspect signifies encounters in your life that will lead to transformation in various areas of your life. These areas may be areas where an encounter reveals aspects of your life that you have denied or kept hidden from others, but become revealed now. These hidden areas may be parts of your make up that you have tried to ignore or hide, considering them as negative or bad. Your thinking here may be colored by others from your childhood, and may not in fact be true. It is important that you face these parts of yourself, as an adult, and reevaluate them based on your more mature self-knowledge. The main thing during this aspect is to be willing to face those things about yourself that you have tried to ignore, and remain open to new insights. One warning about this aspect, is that you should avoid taking anything at face value when encountering a new person or circumstance.

Somes a bit scary, but forewarned is forearmed. You are ready for this period or it wouldn't be coming about. Just stay loose, don't rely solely on your view of reality, and have fun.

Transiting Neptune seems to be Opposed my Natal Saturn, in my first house-Leo.
Could this account for all my world view changes? I feel like everything I was is gone and I am transforming my life. I want to reject stability and structure that I once thought of embracing.
Come to think of it, Transiting Pluto is conjunct my Natal Neptune and Venus in my fifth house.(Sag) This may be significant, because it is mainly love related. I can't voice it to my lover, as I don't understand it other than an unsettledness, a wrongness, even though he has done nothing 'wrong'.
I basically want nothing I have right now, but I am at peace with it, if that makes sense. I am just beginning with transits, so I am unsure how to fully understand these things....But I am trying.
Insight would be both appreciated and reciprocated, somehow.

Thank you Lanny!!

I have been feeling some of these things and you have put them into words for me. I have only been studying astrology rather haphazardly for about a year, but it is so very insighful. And I applaud those of you who grasp it so well.

"don't rely solely on your view of reality, and have fun." Boy, am I in trouble , what a way to start mid-life!

I know this, as I feel it now too. I "can't" be who I am/was, something has to change. I also feel like there is something waiting for me to find it.

"Something waiting for you to find it"

Yes, that too. It's funny, because when I express it to close friends.... or TRY to express it, I hear variations of the same thing.... 'make sure you know, before taking the plunge' or "you are just bored"
Well, I have felt this way for the better part of a year, with glimpses before that, and I've been bored before, I know it isn't that! This feels huge, but I don't know what direction to take with it and still be healthy and productive. If it weren't for my kids, I would just do alot of things.
I hope we both find what we need with this.... Good luck!

You'll be confused and bump into things, and probably join a couple of sects

Me too! Isn't the urge powerful? I talk about all kinds of things to them and they think I am nuts!

" But I still haven't found what I'm looking for" -U2.

Seems to suit perfectly.
