i have heard that someone with a moon opposite your sun is a good match, and from personal experience i can say this is mostly true. are opposites in a chart generally bad?it seems a lot of crushes i've had have had moon opposite my sun and a great deal of my friends have their moon conjunct my sun. what are generally good aspects for friendships and love relationships between sun and moon? Dorkus -For the longest I've known that if you share the exact Moon cross Sun and vise versa, that it's really good. (Ex: Leo Sun/Libra Moon goes well with Libra Sun/Leo Moon). Joanne Woodward and Paul Newman have this, with Aquarius & Cancer, I think. If you have it going one way, it's the next best. Then the next best is have a Moon cross Sun in the same elements. (Ex: Sag Sun/Gemini Moon goes well with Aquarius Sun/Aries Moon). As for opposing Sun and Moon like you mentioned, I think that may work better with some signs than others, seriously... Cuz for example, I have Cancer Moon and I have to watch out big time for Cap Suns, ESPECIALLY women... and ESPECIALLY if they have a cool Moon. That's almost guaranteed. Not to assume anything bad about anyone here, cuz there's always exceptions, but it's been my experience.  ------------------

Well, as for my experience with Cap ladies, the two wicked witches (literally) in my life have had Libra & Aqua Moons.Cool Moons like we talk about here would be like Capricorn, Aquarius, Gemini, Virgo, and Libra. They are not bad in and of themselves, just if you have someone with a colder approach to life ALONG WITH a cool Moon... or maybe it's the cool Moon... Do you see?  IP: Logged |

My mother and I have a mutual Sun/Moon opposition, and we do get along really well, most of the time (I'm Aries with a Gem Moon, mum is Sadge with Libra moon).

Moon opposit Sun in synastry is considered to give a feeling of completenes. Its a very nice aspect to have. ANY aspect between Moon/Sun is better then none.
For some whicked reason thou - Moon/Sun conjunction rarely works in the long term relationships- its very strange that the two people often part ways. I don`t know what causes it...I guess the Moon person feels subordinate to the Sun person and if the Moon is the male partner- it could cause deep frustrations. Moon/Sun works at its best when Moon is the female and Sun is the male partner respecively. And only if the woman is not too demanding and strong willed so the man takes the role of the decesion-maker.IP: Logged |
