With the conjunction, mars will want to stay away from saturn (instant dislike) with the square or opposition, you just never connect. Saturn will try to control (or hold)and mars resents it and rebels.In synastry its better for these 2 planets NOT to make an aspect rather than make a hard one hope this helps

All in all not easy aspects, but the maturity of each partner and other factors in the synasty chart may midigate the affect.

This is supposed to be the worsed aspect for synastry. Would anyone like to expore specifically why?

I have this with my ex, but, our Mars' were conjunct, so, my mars, and his mars were opposite his saturn. Any thoughts or experiences to share?

DO you have it in synastry, or natally?

I have this with my ex - but, he has it natally already; his mars is opposite his saturn, my mars conjuncts his mars.

Hmm, my jupiter does as well. So maybe this enlarged/expanded the aspect for him. He was explosive and horrible. Awful anger issues, but in a really twisted way. Then blamed me for it everytime. Apparently this is a characteristic of oppositions.
