Pluto square sun - this aspect can be an extremely troublesome one, depending upon how strong your self image is now. This period will test your internal strength and energy. One area that will be tested is your self-control. For example, events may occur that will place you in a position of power and control over others. Your response to this power will determine the response from the world toward you. If you maintain self-control, and use your power positively, the response will be positive, if on the other hand you abuse your power, response will be negative.

In some cases, you may be on the receiving end of someone else’s power trip. Your ability to stand up for yourself, but in a positive way, will be tested. Pluto often creates power struggles in one’s life in order to allow the individual to understand power and its effects. Your choice is how to positively handle the power you have, and the power others have over you so that all will benefit.

Pluto square ascendant - this aspect indicates some very intensive encounters with others which will affect your intimate relationships to a high degree. Pluto takes no prisoners, and in this aspect you can expect a lot of upheaval in your personal life. Depending upon how good the relationship is supporting your growth, it may or may not be able to withstand this aspect. Some relationships need to end so that newer and more positive ones can occur. People, who come into your life now in a meaningful way, will have long term effects on your emotions. They seem to have a magic hold on your heart, even if you don’t want them too. They may not have your best interest in mind so take care. The thing to keep in mind is that it’s not their fault; you are drawing them to you unconsciously. You need to look inward to discover why you are drawing to you, what need they are fulfilling. Don’t play games now or try to manipulate others, because it will backfire on you now. The best approach to this aspect is to jump right in and start cleaning house on your own, or Pluto will do it for you, and not easily.

PLuto Oppose Midheaven – this marks a time of major changes in your personal life. You may encounter some certain early life programming that you have until now been unaware of. These early childhood experiences have a lasting effect on us all, conditioning us to see and react to experiences in certain ways, and while appropriate for you as a child, may be limiting you a great deal now that you are grown. This may all be driven by major changes in your personal life. Old relationships may slip away, and be replaced by new and more enlightening ones. What ever occurs, the more you resist the changes, the worse it will be. Its time to clean house and start afresh. This can be very scary, but keep in mind that in the long run you will be much better off.

Jupiter oppose Sun - Sun – this can be a very discouraging time for you. Your vital energies are at a 29-year low right now. Unfortunately you may encounter resistance from those in power, and your efforts may not pay off right now. This is particularly true if the results you are trying for are primarily for yourself. Efforts that you make for others will meet fewer obstacles. You may be feeling old right now, wary of soul, so to speak. Avoid excessive strains on your system right now. You are particularly susceptible to health issues right now, so slow down, get yourself together, and after this aspect is over, you can make your mark on the world.

If you are currently involved in an unproductive relationship, it will be more of a drain right now than usual. It may even end, and although that would be difficult on you, in the long run it would be for the best. This is true especially if the relationship keeps you from fully expressing yourself. The way to deal with this aspect is through understanding how the cycles in your life work for your growth. Nothing is gained by fighting it, instead you need to learn to flow with the cycles.

Jupiter square Neptune - During this time, any spiritual views or ideas that you have will meet resistance from others. You will be challenged to show how these ideas apply in the real world, before others will accept them. During this period your concern for others will be heighten, and you will want to help those less fortunate than yourself. Unfortunately, Neptune will muddy up your perspective, and you may not be able to tell accurately who needs your help, and who doesn’t. This time tests your grasp of reality, and your ability to translate ideas into practice. Watch out for false teachers during this period, because you won’t be able to tell what they are up to.

North Node Oppose your natal Uranus - Oppose natal Uranus - this causes circumstances to appear to oppress your individually. This is not a time to rebel against others or your environment, because you can not win right now. This requires great discipline on your part, because you want to blow up and changes directions in life. During this time you are learning to control yourself, and the tests others and yourself will put on you will be directly related to the growth that you can achieve. Accept this time as a time where you need to just lay back and accept things as they are. It will pass and you will have gained much from it. If you fight it, and try to take control and make demands, you will find yourself a whole lot worse off when it is over than you are now. So Chill out!!

the pluto transits described above really struck a chord with me as well as nn oppose uranus. if it's okay may i request a transit reading as well? i'm having such a hard time (past few years) and don't see where the pressure is coming from in my chart.

The problem is that my friend *cough* FatesKnight
(it's so weird calling someone that you know in "real life" by their screen name, but he's an uber-paranoid Virgo and doesn't want his real name used)
doesn't see any effective or constructive ways of dealing with these transits - does anyone out there have any ideas or insights?

I'm a Virgo as well and am hoping that once Jupiter goes direct in May, things will start moving forward as well. It takes time, but hang in there! And have faith (Jupiter) that something better than expected is on the horizon for you.
