Okay I was having a weird moment today and came up with a rather weird question. I was thinking our date of birth has significance astrologically…on our personalities, Does the date of persons death have any bearing anywhere astrologically, obviously not to the individual who has passed, but to those left behind?

hEY, YOU Crazyaries Edmontonian! Good to see a fellow home towner, crazy or otherwise!

As for your question, I think if you experience the death of someone who is near and dear to you, it's gonna hurt deep deep down inside, in a profound way, and in that case, I think the passing would coincide with a powerful transit...probably involving Pluto or Chiron, or Saturn, you know, any one of the more scary/pain inducing planets.

For instance, someone's mother may pass while they are experiencing a chiron/moon transit, with one of the outer "malific" planets providing the profound transformational energy to the transit. This is NOT to say that this is the only way a transit of this nature will manifest! It's mearly one possibility, of an infinate number of possibilities, so if you're having a transit such as this, please do not panic.

(it's just my non-professional onion anyway)

A Calgarian...well, I won't hold it against you lol...J/K I don't actually partake in that 'two cities' rivalry crap. I've been to Calgary several times and I find it quite lovely.

Hi crazyareis,
some astrologers say that the natal chart of a person remains active even after they passed away. The charts are still influenced by transits and progressions. Surprising, eh? But it does make sense. If you think about that - very often some celebrity figure all of sudden receive true and bigger recognition years after their death - the researchers say - it usually happens when the natal chart of the dead peson undergoes some stong transits or progressions. Chart`s still alive and throbbing..(example - Van Gough, Vagner..)

That makes sense Jazzebel! Which dead artists (or other famous) can we think of experiencing that post-fame?

Like that song by John Lennon come out a few years ago? They took pieces of his voice and made "Free As a Bird" for the Beatles Anthology One. The CD was released Nov 14, 2000.

oh, let`s see, Astroj..2002 there was a movie about Frida Kahlo, a mexican heroine and famous painter who died a terrible death(and very hard life too). Great film (Oscar nominee), I adore it! That wasn`t anything dedicated to her memory until that movie came out(or at least I havn`t heard of). Havn`t checked her transits, maybe there will be something interesting..

Gloria, you wouldn`t believe ..

I just checked Frida`s transits for the date the film was first released - November 2002. Transiting Uranus was dead on her ASC. And her progressed ASC was exactly on her natal MC. And progressed MC was on her natal ASC. Amazing it is...!
