Can someone please, please help me? I'm having a hard time deciding on a career. Before I entered college, I really had my heart set on becoming a doctor. But now, I'm not quite sure. Sometimes, I fantasize about being an actor. The only problem is, I don't have any acting experience and I am painfully shy. God, I don't know what to do. This has left me feeling incredibly depressed. Can someone please tell me what career I should pursue? Which one would bring me the most success? Thank you.IP: Logged |

Hi SuperNova, I asked the same question as you a while ago. It requires an extensive answer and the Midheaven in your chart can give you some guidelines on how to approach your career. I think you'd make a better whatever you feel passionate about... Doctors are in need in this world, you can reach far more people on a personal level, and you can work dramatically and energetically at diagnosis and making people well.. the most memorable doctors are the ones not who prescribe the most, but who listen and are involved. The qualities you love and desire in an acting career you can transmute toward an honourable lving career in helping on a personal level. Random people may not know your face, but touching lives at an intimate level is far more gratifying than a name in lights. The lights that really matter are the ones you make brighter through your love...
Counsel children, be like Patch Adams..... Make a compassionate work of art out of your desires.... combine them... put on shows with the people needing healing, organize a drama group within the healing centre.. who says you can't do both?  IP: Logged | |
