I want to know if astrology and reincarnation are compatable, and if they are, to what extent are they related. I don't recall Linda writing very much about reincarnation and it's workings. Any info. will help. Light and Love to All!!!

Oh yeah, happy (belated) b-day Linda

Yeah, I think they are compatible. To what extent? Don't know how much you know about astrology.

They go hand-in-hand. To believe in only one without the other is to view only half a jigsaw puzzle. Neither is complete on its own.

I became a believer in reincarnation because of astrology. I have written some on the subject on my website. Please visit.

There is no doubt in my mind that one supports the other. I believe that we are born at a particular time, place and family in order to undergo certain struggles in life in order for our souls to evolve. This occurs over and over until we reacg oneness with the divine.

Reincarnation is the process, and astrology provides the timing and scenerio that we play out in each lifecycle.

And we are I would say, to a large extent, a very future-oriented race.

The woman I once took astrology lessons from always maintained that you could look to your moon sign for indications of your past life. And specifically, it shows whether you were male or female in your most previous life. Fire and Air signs were male, Earth and Water were female.

Now, I'm not sure I completely buy into this theory, but I'm throwing it out there for you, in case it might be a thought you'd like to pursue.

Trillian,
Your teacher sounds just like my tutor, she said the same thing, (moon is the unconscience past) I believe the formula is draw up your natal using the same time and co-ordinates only for the day before (your past). Now theres an idea look up anyone famous born March 21 the beginning of aries.(the day before would make it the end of Pisces). The beginning and the end. Also John Wayne Gacy was a Pisces Sun and Moon. (this could have been his last time around). The whole reincarnation thing is based on learning the lessons of exellence of each sign untill you've mastered them, and then you master the next. Untill you get to Pisces where anything left unaccounted for gets swept in there. Pisces is closest to God. Pisces possess the gift of Faith.

Hi G.G
Funny you said that about all that pisces and an Aries sun. I was a 10 month baby and should have been a Pisces (I have no Pisces)But I do have my ruler in the 12th house and 3 children with the moon in Pisces. Lanny has said in another thread something interesting (Lanny forgive me if I don't say this verbatim) that after a particularly difficult reincarnation souls sometimes take an easy/vacation incarnation (I know I messed up somewhere merc retro) I believe this too, for numerous reasons.
People you feel a strong kinship towards (or are instantly comfortable with, like you know them) are probably from your past (not a soul mate). Take for instance your family they surely are. The moon, Saturn, The Nodes (south) and the water houses will tell you more about that.
I could be wrong but I think the Pisces lesson is temptation. (addiction is Pisces)
Two people I've found with March 21 birthdays are Gary Oldman and Mathew Broderick. And Gemini Girl you just keep bouncing those questions around, this is how you learn. Gemini knows that.

Hmm. So much food for thought here...hope you're all as hungry as me! (that was a really long sentance, geminigirl lol) ...Ok, now my 2 bits...I've read time and again to look for strong Saturn contacts as indicaters of past life karma and/or spirits with whom you had pre-arranged life scenarios, for the purpose of testing and growing your soul's garden... One even suggested pulling up a synastry chart with you and ANYBODY who you ever gave a crap about, whether you wanted them dead, or you worship them, or anything in between. Start with a sibling, or a parent. Apparently, there will inevitably be 'Saturn'-to-'personal planets' contacts going on. Then, try this with random birth dates too, just off the top of your head, and you'll see that the synastry with actual people in your life ALWAYS have Saturn contacts present, while with the random birth dates, it'll be "hit and miss". Try it! I dare ya!

Not counting people who you just know, who you feel rather neutral about...but it could include a stranger who you never met before, if they've made a strong impact on you, like a man who appears out of nowhere to pull you out of the path of an oncoming bus or something...Course, you probably wouldn't think to ask him for his birth info lol...
