A week left, oh, who ever said I was counting... ? I want letters and communication lines open again, darn it! Move, you winged baby, move direct...

This Aries Rising can't hold back her curiousity very much longer. Anyone else feeling the pull of the precarious countdown? I just want it over with, like nothing else I coulda imagined. Thankfully, it won't screw my summer over, being it doesn't come around again til mid August. Three cheers for that, YEAH!!!

Dare I say, TRY and relish this time of chaos... the more you try to "avoid" the more power you give it...

It's enough for me to know the cause of the mayhem... relish it...

Funny...I have had a lot of communication this retro period. Lots of letters, even dreams (but that could be all the funny Neptune transits I think I have). And I've even started new projects, but I am eager for all of the miscommunication to end. How many days?

VAA, you're dating a Gemini-don't worry about lack of communication!

i'm just waiting for how many days until i see my casanova again
and since it falls only within a couple of days from the end of retro
i get a chance to rubberband back into his life

the things us venus planets do

i'm just trying to ride the back of the wave
when everyone else goes direct
i rest

Hi Carlo,

Good point! You mean Venus and Mars though, right? Recently both were conjunct my Ascendant too. It's been...interesting. And certainly not dull. lol

Dunno about D. I was going to ask you the same thing. If I hear anything before you (probably unlikely), I will let you know.

tell me about it, for the last 3 weeks I think mercury in retro has caused so many problems, broken communication, false contracts, and all kinds of illusions. I wonder if it affected Aries Rising people more??? hmmm All and all I am partying Friday for a Direct hit.

Welcome Aksean

Seeings how I felt the effects so late in the retro, does that mean I`ll feel it long after it`s onward ho.

literally counting the f***ing minutes...

the next few days ahead...

THU APR 29 Take out your portable microscope and examine the little things that turn your life around in a positive manner. So many small and seemingly insignificant realities help to get you through every 24-hour time-period. When the Moon is in Virgo (5:01AM PDT), steer clear of critical judgments and magnifying the flaws in people dear to you. Become a master of efficiency and order. Bring your home out of the dark ages. Straighten your desk and organize office files and paperwork. Eliminate dust bunnies and toss out boxes of non-essentials. Visit a health-food store and stock up on natural goodies. Health, diet and nutrition are in the spotlight. The brightest moments of inspiration occur during the Moon-Jupiter union (9:33PM PDT) and Moon-Sun trine in earth signs (11:57PM PDT). In between these two times, Juno moves 135 degrees to Jupiter (10:36PM PDT). This is a signal to be extra loving and devoted to a partner on the ropes.

FRI APR 30 You need to be on super-alert for the next 48 hours. The cosmos explodes with major alignments that can send you reeling. The biggest event happens early as Mercury ceases its retrograde cycle and makes a direct station at 22 degrees of Aries (6:06AM PDT). [Mercury will stay in forward motion until August 9 when it will stop and turn retrograde again at 9 degrees of Virgo.] While Mercury ending its reversal is good news, it really isn't going anywhere. It will take about 4 days for the messenger and communication planet to have some kind of significant daily speed. Remain very careful if you must sign on the dotted line. A Mercury-Venus sextile (1:05PM PDT) is another positive, life-enhancing and creative influence. However, instability and uncertainty pervade the psychic universe as Vesta conjuncts Uranus in Pisces (8:13AM PDT), the Sun moves 45 degrees to Mars (5:06PM PDT), and Mars moves 150 degrees to Chiron (11:28PM PDT). Shock waves roll in and worries build to a crescendo. The Vesta-Uranus union is particularly tricky as it can coincide with a bad case of frayed nerves and anxiety. You may be deeply concerned about a loved one's safety and security or even your own. Exercise, card or board games, working on puzzles and brain teasers may ease your burdens.

SAT MAY 1 Controversy and confusion are swirling all around. Will you be caught up in the psychic maelstrom? The main headline is Chiron slowing down, stopping and turning retrograde at 27 degrees of Capricorn. The time is close to 10PM PDT. [Chiron stays retrograde until September 26 when it will turn direct at 21 degrees of Capricorn.] All Chiron themes -- life quest, maverick and eccentric qualities, bridges between realms and the personality and soul, keys opening doorways to higher consciousness, divination and oracular systems, holistic healing, wounds and pains, alternative medicine, twilight zones of unusual consciousness -- are pronounced now and for the next few days. However, two other big alignments vie for supremacy as Jupiter sextiles Saturn (1:31PM PDT) and Venus in Gemini opposes Pluto in Sagittarius (11:04PM PDT). With all three celestial happenings striking within less than 12 hours, you will have your hands full with dynamic and radical change. Think more about your place in the giant scheme of things in society and the spiritual universe. Learn more about philosophy, religion, reincarnation and mystical subjects. Note that the Moon in Virgo becomes void at 4:32AM PDT and this lunar cycle lasts until 11:04AM PDT when the Moon enters Libra. This could turn into the "lost weekend" if you are not careful. Be the picture of human kindness and understanding.

SUN MAY 2 You are probably in recovery mode for most of the day. Thank goodness this is a Sunday. Rest, recuperation and reflection are needed with Chiron still virtually motionless, the two largest planets (Jupiter and Saturn) in alignment, and sensitive Venus facing off against extremist and underworld Pluto. Profound subjects stir you to the depths with these three celestial events still rippling through the ethers. Libra Moon is a reminder to bring harmony, peace and contentment into your main relationships. Just when you need some cosmic assistance along comes a Mars-Jupiter 72-degree link (5:27AM PDT). Anytime Mars and Jupiter forge a supportive alliance, your physical vitality and social skills receive a boost. A Moon-Neptune trine (1:17PM PDT) points you toward blissful experiences in music, dance, photography, video work, art, poetry or spiritual studies. You may be in the mood for love-making and reaching the heights in romance tonight as the Moon approaches a trine to Venus (1:06AM PDT tomorrow).

MON MAY 3 Major solar and planetary alignments take the day off just before we reach one of the main Full Moons of the year -- what's called the Buddha Festival or Wesak -- scheduled for tomorrow afternoon. Thus, even though there is a cosmic lull of sorts, intensity is still building hour after hour. Creative, artistic juices are flowing in the morning -- thanks to the Moon in Libra trining Venus in Gemini (1:06AM PDT) and Mars in Gemini (9:50AM PDT). This latter time begins a void lunar cycle lasting until 1:40PM PDT when the Moon dives into the passionate pools of Scorpio Moon. The sleuth within takes over once Scorpio Moon begins in earnest. Ferret out secrets relating to your family tree or learn more about ancient places of magic and mystery. Research, library work, psychological studies and investigations of almost any kind make sense right now. The evening builds to a Moon-Uranus trine in water signs (11:51PM PDT). Let your intuition guide your intellect, logic and commonsense.

TUE MAY 4 Meditate for clarity, peace of mind and to help spread illuminating ideas around the globe. You reach one of the high moments of the year as the Full Moon -- also a Total Lunar Eclipse -- energizes 15 degrees of Taurus and Scorpio (1:34PM PDT). Millions of souls are tuning into a planet-wide event as the spirit of the Buddha makes its annual return to bless the faithful and link up with human beings seeking enlightenment. The day is made more remarkable because the largest planet in the solar system -- Jupiter -- stops its retrograde motion and turns direct at 9 degrees of Virgo (8:08PM PDT). [Jupiter will stay direct until February 1, 2005 when it stops and turns retrograde again at 19 degrees of Libra.] All Jupiter themes -- the power of positive thinking, opportunities knocking, good fortune and prosperity, success, long-distance travel, philosophy and religion, higher education and athletics, goal-orientation and social integration -- are emphasized throughout the day and for the next 48-72 hours. Inspirations are also on the rise as Mercury trines Pluto in fire signs (10:49AM PDT). One stickler is a void lunar cycle starting at 2:38PM PDT and lasting until 2:09PM PDT tomorrow. The potential of this day is enormous, but it may be better to focus your attention on expansion of consciousness and pursuing spiritual objectives than trying to make rock-solid accomplishments in the material world.

WED MAY 5 If there's any way you can take the morning off from serious work and the dog-eat-dog rat race, the universe gives you an official green light. First of all, the Moon remains in a void cycle in Scorpio until 2:09PM PDT when Sagittarius Moon begins. Secondly, the Sun in Taurus squares Neptune in Aquarius (5:50AM PDT). This is a pattern that often coincides with illusions, deceptions, chaos and confusion. Mentally, emotionally and even physically, it's hard to get a handle on what's happening. Imagine yourself moving through a thick fog and barely able to see a few feet in front of you, that's an appropriate metaphor for today's scene and events. Adding to any misunderstandings is a Pallas-Uranus square from Gemini to Pisces (12:47PM PDT). While this aspect could increase your intellectual prowess, the odds are it is more likely to create nervous tension and anxiety. The arrival of Sagittarius Moon represents the breakthrough time of the day. Once this occurs, you should feel more exuberant and light-hearted. Improve your golf stroke or batting swing. Go on a cycling expedition around the neighborhood. Plan a vacation with a loved one now that both Mercury and Jupiter -- key planets connected to travel -- are in forward motion.

***

um, er...I prolly will be off the boards until next week, have a nice weekend and direct station, one and all.

Love,
Carlo

I've tuned up my space suit and I'm stepping into it now. Not a good time for motorcyles. Good time to watch movies.

Yeah, you're right oxy, in a way, I am "dating" a Gemmy... And when we were flirting about him coming and having ice cream at the ice cream place I now work at, he asked me if I "had anything against personally delievering it?"...nope, none whatsoever..::sparklingly grins:: He wanted to know how soon I'll be able to visit, and if it's be in time for his b-day... (Of course, Tony. Wouldn't miss it for the world)
This Merc Rx's been good to the both of us, and the Venus in Gemini doesn't hurt a bit.

Aww, VAA, that is so cute! I used to date a Gemini who worked at a restaurant (this was back in h.s.) and used to send me special deliveries.

Hey, I wanted to tell you I just realized I have a good friend who is also a Virgo Sun/Leo Moon/Aries Rising! Interesting.

I hope I'm not prying-does Tony live near you or is this long-distance?

Yeah, that's really cool how you also know someone who has the same placements as me...how similar are we, I'd like to know, as I've never met another with the same?

Nope, you're not prying at all...He lives about 1200 miles (two time zones) away right now, but I've set plans in motion, unbeknownst to him, to visit for at least a month, possibly the whole summer at their home. I don't think his family would mind as I am close with all of them too, especially his older sis, my BFF. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Letters used to be our main, yet sporadic, form of communication, but since our last visit, when he realized we both had access to cell phones that had text message capabilites, well, I think he feels more free when he's able to communicate so quickly and get my responses that fast too. Oh, did I tell you?...since he started text messaging me, he's called me twice too, the second time was just this morning around 11:14 (right when the moon moved into Libra)! It was so amazing to hear his voice, as I had been hoping he'd call today, as it was exactly a week ago, on Saturday, that the last call came. I'm flying...

Hmm..well, she has a 6th House Mercury like you (in Libra though). She's very detail-oriented, which suits her job very well. When I first met her, I knew she liked to keep a journal and enjoyed writing, but I think she was a little private about it. She's very open-minded and tolerant of others, and, like you, is often the voice of reason. Hmm..what else..she makes friends very easily and usually gives a nice impression (this could possibly be due to her jupiter conj. ascendant though)

I'm so glad you plans to visit him and his family! My Leo ex lives 2 time zones away too (damn him for waking me early the past couple of mornings ) and we may have plans to get together as well!

Text messages are fun! And leave it to a Gemini to utilize all forms of communication. A lot of wireless plans offer free nights/weekends with long distance included (in other words, they don't charge long distance calls differently than local calls).

You know there really is something in this mercury retrograde stuff isnt there. All the bickering on here (which is now over I add) for one thing. Its affected my life in two big ways, last Sunday 25 Apr, I had my bag stolen, I lost EVERYTHING, my passport my keys, my bank cards, my purse, my mobile, work ID....my life basically. (Its all sorted out now by the way) but also on Friday when mercury starts to go forward again - I pass my driving test!!

Quite significant I think.
