The reply to this would be different on any number of days, but for now I'll go with Pearl Jam and "Indifference". (Eddie Vedder is a Capricorn, Jeff Ament is a Pisces, Mike McCreedy is an Aries, Stone Gossard is a Cancer, and then there's "the drummer" who always changes ...) No idea on the "band's" sign.

Woo hoo! astro junkie and Temple of the Dog! I likes.

Pisces (Billy Corrigan, lead singer of the Smashing Pumpkins)

"Tonight, Tonight"

Time is never time at all
You can never ever leave without leaving a piece of youth
And our lives are forever changed
We will never be the same
The more you change the less you feel
Believe, believe in me, believe
That life can change, that you're not stuck in vain
We're not the same, we're different tonight
Tonight, so bright
Tonight
And you know you're never sure
But your sure you could be right
If you held yourself up to the light
And the embers never fade in your city by the lake
The place where you were born
Believe, believe in me, believe
In the resolute urgency of now
And if you believe there's not a chance tonight
Tonight, so bright
Tonight
We'll crucify the insincere tonight
We'll make things right, we'll feel it all tonight
We'll find a way to offer up the night tonight
The indescribable moments of your life tonight
The impossible is possible tonight
Believe in me as I believe in you, tonight

"...Lie down in the fire with me
I'll burn everything frequently
if it don't feel good
when you first get in
wait till it gets
under your skin...

...Some deeds done wrong
won't scar me long
I've done a few
maybe one or two
If you want to know
all my original sins
just ask the Virgin
she knows where I've been..."

that's a group too. And can you name that tune?

Dude, I love the Pumpkins! I was so bummed when they broke up. One thing is for sure, Corgan is an amazing musical talent!

... check it out ...

I graduated high school 1979::

"...double cross the vacant and the bored
they're not sure just what we have in store
morphine city slippin dues down to see
that we don't even care as restless as we are
we feel the pull in the land of a thousand guilts
and poured cement, lamented and assured
to the lights and towns below
faster than the speed of sound
faster than we thought we'd go,
beneath the sound of hope..."

"... we only come out at night
the days are much too bright
we only come out at night
and once again, you'll pretend to know me well,
my friends
and once again, i'll pretend to know the way thru the empty space
thru the secret places of the heart
we only come out at night
the days are much too bright
we only come out at night
i walk alone, i walk alone to find the way home
i'm on my own
i'm on my own to see the ways
that i can't help the days
you will make it home ok
i know you can, and you can
we only come out at night
the days are much too bright
we only come out at night
and once again, you'll pretend to know that
there's an end, that there's an end to this begin
it will help you sleep at night
it will make it seem that right is always right
alright?
we only come out at night..."

Well, it doesn't help that I really really don't like grunge, and I don't keep up with whatever passes for alternative rock these days. Interesting astrological tidbits that I curiously do know:

I'm a Gem with Pisces moon, and for some reason I've yet to discern, I immediately detest Pisces with Gem moon peeps. And I immediately detested Billy Corgan when that band first came out. And guess what? (drum roll) He's a Pisces with Gem moon.

Also, I would hazard to guess that Pearl Jam's "sign" is Virgo: three of the member's have Virgo moon (Vedder, Ament, and Gossard), and two have Virgo Mars (Vedder, McCready), which must mean this is the most emotionally repressed rock band around. It certainly would explain their legendary "fussiness" over things like drummers. (By the way, Dave A. is a Taurus and i don't know his moon, Jack Irons is a Cancer with Aqua moon, and Matt Cameron is a Sag with...oh I forget now...but he's cool. I shook his hand once, back in 1990. I like his other band, Wellwater Conspiracy. I like Jack I's current band, Eleven, too).

I am a HUGE Bob Dylan fan. I just looked up his chart. Wow!! Maybe this explains why I feel an affinity to him and his music - especially his lyrics.

His Mercury is Conj. My Venus
His NNode is exactly conj. [/b]My Moon
His Neptune is 5 degrees away from my Moon
His Uranus is exactly conj My Sun
Along with Saturn, Moon and Jupiter in close orb to my Sun.
My Neptune conj. his ASC
My Pluto is conj his MC
And we both have Venus in Gemini

Very interesting!!!
This is the link to his chart if anyone cares....

Yayness, good music! Heh, music makes me happy. The only grunge band I really like is Nirvana, but then, who doesn't like them?

Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, now you're talking my language. Just got the Stones' Sticky Fingers today and God do I love it, I think it's the first album that I have ever heard in which I liked every song on the first hearing.

I'm going a bit OT, aren't I?

26Taurus - you are so lucky to have seen all those bands!!

OK - here's one that will definitely give my age away - I saw The Police in concert!!! That was the best. My first concert was Foreigner. Shook hands with Dave Mason after his concert. Actually went to a Julian Lennon concert too, and it was great. Also James Taylor.

I have my original Joni Mitchell's "Mingus" vinyl.

Hendrix has my favorite version of "Gloria", and I have it on 45rpm. Love Gary Wright too. There's so many. Fleetwood Mac... I've always been into so many types of music. Huge Alternative selection, World, everything...

Love Ricky Lee Jones, Fiona Apple (saw her in concert), PJ Harvey...
But the end all IS Zepplin. Bar none.

OMG. AJ - I love the Police. I really want their Reggatta de Blanc album - I cant find it anywhere. I'll have to order it online. Two songs in particular off that album I like - "Does Everyone Stare"
"Does everyone stare the way I do?
I only stare this way at you" - love that song. And "Bed's Too Big Without You".

Aj - are you a Clash fan? I am.

Yeah, I've seen alot of good shows. It's something I don't mind spending alot of money on - tickets to a good show. Especially a classic rock band because you don't know how much longer they'll be around. Sadly I never saw the Dead.

I dont have Mitchell's "Mingus". I'll have to pick it up. One of my fav. albums by her is "Court and Spark" and "Don Juan's Reckless Daughter".

Oh! And how could I forget Neil Young - LOve him. Or.....Yes! Fleetwood Mac!!!! I love Stevie Nicks especially her album "The Wild Heart"
Joe Cocker
Bob Marley
Rush
Eric Clapton
Cat Stevens
VAN MORRISON
James Taylor
Tom Petty
Janis

other bands I love.....
U2
Jane's Addiction
Alice in Chains
Beastie Boys (I saw them too - awesome)
Dave Matthews
David Gray
Beck
Sublime
Sheryl Crow
Tribe Called Quest
oh..oh..Erykah Badu!!!!

.........the list goes on........and on and on and on.................

I wont even start naming Blues players I love.

Yeah but it's Zeppelin ALL THE WAY!!

I like Fiona Apple but I dont have any albums by her. I read somewhere recently that she is a Virgo Sun and Moon - if my memory serves me correct.

Everlong - do you have "Emotional Rescue" by The Rolling Stones?? I love the song "She's so Cold"
I'm so hot for her, I'm on fire for her
I'm so hot for her and she's so cold .....
great album.......

Holy post!!!! Sorry - got a little too excited - went a littly nutty!!
